  1. Depends... will she be there? seriously though, I'm not sure yet if I can make it.
  2. should be down for this, haven't been to a club meeting for ages!
  3. lol I know Looking forward to seeing the website launch!
  4. If it does rain I'm fscked anyway, the car has heaps more response now... grip might be an issue lol Hope no one runs into me according to BOM forecast for Sunday: Min 9, Max 15, Mainly dry. Melbourne area Partly cloudy. The chance of a light shower or two. Winds southeasterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h.
  5. The R32/34 chick is cute
  6. LOL i'm not too fussed anymore, with that many cars on the track of various capabilities it will be a slow day for laptimes. And it will probably rain
  7. It's unfortunate that the perils of driving a modified car draws the attention of defect/epa hungry cops. Even if you're driving along enjoying a nice casual cruise under the speed limit, there's a chance you will be "randomly" pulled over. Sigh.... sucks but that's how it is.
  8. hahaha gee really.... lol
  9. There's only 4 groups in the run list.... I think they should at least split group 1 into two groups.
  10. I've got some in-car footage from the last wrx championship round at Winton, but my car is slow so it's nothing special.
  11. that's whet I was thinking! I double checked with Neil and apparently that's how they will run it.
  12. the f**k is a GPRS?
  13. LOL Adam, I don't particularly care so much about winning any trophy, it's all just part of the fun of being in the championship I think the SAU nationals concept is excellent to bring all the states together and knowing the amount of volunteer effort/planning/coordination that is going in to organising such an event, that alone is worth being there!
  14. There's 26 cars in group 1, apparently all go out on track at once in the same session should be fun... especially with handbags out there belting the crap out of the bmw 135i
  15. I keep an extra bonnet strap in my bag just in case. It's still not clear to me if it's required based on sup regs (whether or not secondary factory latch qualifies as 2 bonnet restraint systems), but definitely a good idea to have if you don't have bonnet pins fitted. You don't want your bonnet flying up at 200+ km/h!
  16. lol fair enough... my comments are simply based on my experience, and what the supp regs say. If it's not on the scrut sheet they wont check it. I will have one for this round regardless because it's in the supp regs for the alfa club event this weeekend.
  17. Dude I ran without one at the last 2 wrx rounds, I'm not making it up just to argue with you Show me in the supp regs where it says this rule only applies to wrx's and i'll believe you
  18. No, it applies to all cars entered on the day, not only WRXes. I will have one anyway because the Alfa club supp regs require it.
  19. hahaahaha Aaron that's gold LMAO!!! my only comment here is there's always 2 sides to a story....
  20. hahahaha funny stuff. lots of lulz in this thread!
  21. Stupid 75db limit... Sandown residents who live near the track should f**k off. Who buys a house surrounding a race track and then complains about noise.. f**kers.
  22. lol SAU facebook!

  23. Are you 100% sure external gate wont pass? doesn't brisby have ext gate? Ahh so Troy did get in trouble at the Sandown day. Hmmm... I think plumb back is the safest option
  24. Just a sticker on your car showing where the battery is. For WRX sprints it's only required if your battery is NOT in the front under the bonnet.
