  2. don't be afraid of a bit of rain dude... just adjust your driving to cater for wet conditions... besides with melbourne's f**ked up weather, you never know how it's going to turn out.
  3. Agree with Hamish. whilst I have no idea what a cock flavoured lolipop tastes like, i do recommend you replace the HICAS with a lock bar, this will remove the problem
  4. hahaha well good on them! i don't have to mention it then. like i said, nothing special.. i'm looking forward to getting back out on circuit
  5. It comes down to the decisions the driver makes. Forget passenger restrictions, speed limits, more tests, harsher penalties..... ALL of that is trumped by a reckless, irresponsible driver decision to do the wrong thing.
  6. lol you will have to wait and see! its really nothing special.. and since it will be the car's first proper shakedown on a track, as long as i bring it home in one piece i'm happy
  7. just buy another one... what are they $150?? seems more trouble than it's worth to repair... so just replace it
  8. i'm in for whatever movie, as long as i don't crash at calder
  9. LOL... no chance of your car lapping Calder in under 60 seconds. I will personally hand you a $50 note if you do.
  10. you probably still will be I wont be entering in a skyline.
  11. bump!! still for sale... slightly negotiable on price, just want them gone
  12. Looks like I will be entering this.. I'll know 100% by Monday.

  15. Booooo!!! I was looking forward to drive-ins.. I don't mind what movie we see.
  16. I'm glad you're not a paid SAU member richard you tosser.
  17. Well gee Al, you're such an expert on everything, if you've never heard that before then surely it can't be true Like I said, if the powdercoating process is not done properly you can weaken the wheels. CE28's are a lightweight alloy, some places will sand blast the wheels as part of the process = can damage the wheels. Some places use an oven temp way too high during the curing process and overcook it = can weaken the wheels. Glaze, if you decide to go ahead with powder coating, just make sure you take it to a place that use low temp curing and know what they are doing.
  18. Looks pretty tuff to me. I'd leave it as it is.. Powdercoating can also weaken the wheels if not done properly.
  19. or just buy a new head unit? i wasn't sure what the frequencies are at the drive-in, it's been a while since i've been to coburg... last time i went i wasn't really watching the movie
  20. yes as long as your receiver can tune in to the frequency they broadcast at the drive-in, i think it's somewhere around 84-87 MHz FM. Japanese radios typically only receive in the frequency range 76 to 90 MHz FM so that should be fine.
  21. Oh...yes, cake, we love a bit of cake, don't we!!
  22. Pity I don't drive a skyline anymore..
