    Dyno

^lol I think there would be 100 dynos between wangara and kelmscot
  2. also since you only want 1 bar, then go with the HKS actuators and use the turbo's wastegates to control boost
  3. the HKS uprated actuators will help limit boost creep longer than the stock ones will. Therefore will hold boost better, enabling you to run more boost at a steady level which places less reliance on the boost controller. If your boost controller isnt the best then id say definitely go for the better actuators
  4. nengun is $480 delivered atm
  5. woops i did get confused slightly either way, the GT-SS come with the hks 1 bar actuators. Dont think the garretts come with any Got mine from nengun
  6. same here. about a month ago i received mine and didnt pay import tax. Thats around $2700 GT-SS delivered or $2450 for slide highflows wouldnt you rather pay the extra $250 for gaskets, oil drain, studs and twin HKS BB turbos, and not have to send your old ones in?
  7. hahaha i think you may have talked him out of it Brad the extra weight of the Stag may make it feel a bit laggier though compared to a ceffy
  8. ^ and before Danoz asks, that was with the T04Z
  9. wish there was more than 1 track tho
  10. yeah an aftermarket ecu is what i mean Power FC second hand on the forums can be had for $650 if you look...thats not too expensive Im with femno here, take it somewhere that knows GTRs, that can tell you exactly whats on the thing and give you proper advice
  11. if youve got programmable management then no. 18psi would be a good number and with a good tune you should make some decent numbers if standard ecu then i wouldnt go past 14psi.
  12. hey matt, your cousin didnt end up selling his GTR in the end? what happened?
  13. Your turbos already have wastegates To be running 18psi you most probably have upgraded wastegate ACTUATORS The spring inside the wastegate actuator is what determines the boost level at which the wastegate flap will be pushed open Therefore you need a SOFTER spring so that the wastegate opens with less boost. Not a 'tightened' spring as you say Just trying to clear that up for you
  14. have you got pics of the advantis?
  15. yeah, the one at Top Racing? Theres not many around with the huge GTR logo on the side
  16. are you still selling these? I havnt heard back from you
  17. have a look under the rb26 thread stickied at the top of this section
  18. i had the same thing in my car I was told the float is stuck under the fuel gauge assembly. Youll have to go into the tank and pull it out again and make sure it goes above the assembly
  19. nearly the same, even tune-wise The difference is in body diameter. Theyre a z32 in a GTR body, so fit straight on with no problems
  20. yes you can Though youll need the headlights, grill, bonnet and front bumper to make it fit nice
  21. dont you like rb20 shitta spec? i think its under 'my controls' at the top of the page and have a look around in there
  22. theyre totally shit i think you should give them to me
  23. dont get a GTR to do burnouts and 360s helis will kill the stock motor due to oil starvation and youll be in no position (presumably) for a 10k rebuild Just get an exhaust, power fc and tune, some cam gears and a timing belt change (if needed) Theres close to 250rwkw without raising a sweat The factory intercooler wont need to be changed
  24. theres plenty that would argue 300rwkw isnt beyond standard internals in a GTR, no way. that figure seems to be the common upgrade point/benchmark when doing a turbo swap, even on tired 17yo engines
  25. lovely indeed and i appreciate the pics
