  2. doh! 3 of us replied in a minute!
  3. I had this problem with my r33 and after a while i found myself driving with a slight lean haha Maybe put some GTR seats in. im pretty sure they sit a little lower and might be the fix you need Otherwise, is it too hard to drive with the sunroof cover pulled back? That gave me a little more room If not, sell it
  4. wow, thats a good post with good info from a person who can comment on both sides i didnt think the GT-SSs could stay with the -5s so close, unless you mean the 20kw difference was the before and after cams with the -5s? surprising is an understatement go you little GT-SSs haha
  5. oh ok, i took some pics and sent them in a pm to someone ill see if i can dig them up
  6. oh...thanks for that mate! might have to keep looking around for a proper boss kit then 'FTR HKB 32 GTR' <-------where can i get one of those from?
  7. update: just had a look around and the later model 180s with hicas fit and the earlier ones dont end of thread haha
  8. northside nissan's your home ground isnt it?
  9. i think i put a thread up myself with pics on this matter and how i went about repairing it perhaps have a search of it
  10. the speedo cable needle just needed re-sleeving in mine because it was freely spinning inside the speedo cable. by taking the cluster out youll see what the problem is and can fix/replace from there FWIW, i re-sleeved mine with a drinking straw 6 months ago and still havnt had any more dramas
  11. Hi everyone just looking for a quick answer here. Im about to buy a boss kit for my GTR but have now been told its from a 180sx. Are they the same?
  12. cruiseliner has had that username banned but he has the jun rb27 with To4Z, not the GTSS combo you mention JustinFox is someone who had a thread recently about his GTSS dramas and then the solution.
  13. do nissan carry that gasket in stock?
  14. It wont be completely the same. The GTS-4 might be since it will have the torque split meter. If you can get hold of a 32 gtst cluster picture then compare the gauges in there to the GTR and see for yourself. Im not exactly sure what instruments the gtst contains
  15. ive seen a couple in the for sale section recently
  16. ive replied to your other thread MODS: PLS DELETE THIS ONE
  17. 1. Remove all screws under the dash (just above the pedals) and remove panel 2. Lower the steering wheel down and leave the lever unclamped (so that steering wheel can flop around) 3. Remove all screws on front fascia that contains the clock and headlight switches etc 4. Pull out clock connection and other connections to headlight switch etc and remove fascia (might have to wiggle over steering wheel) 5. Undo 4 screws that hold cluster in 6. Slightly pull out cluster and un-clip all gauge connections at the back and the cluster should come right out hopefully that helps
  18. have a feel under the manifold around the middle. You can feel the AAC assembly and i think the idle screw points towards the front of the car aswell getting it off is another story and its even difficult to touch the bloody thing. Theres not even enough room to swing an ant. Id take the cooler pipes and battery out and place a mirror under the plenum to try and locate the screws to take the thing off. Good luck! Failing that, id say the plenum would have to come off...yuck!! intake.doc
  19. $20 for the boss kit and i can pick up? -trav
  20. you fitted those ugly 32 GTS seats to a GTR? ewwwww what ever did your GTR do to you to deserve that? a little cushion for lumbar support does wonders for the back on a long trip
  21. ive had a couple of cars done by marty and theyve always been top quality with no bullshit. Can only speak positively about his work....he'll even come out to you for the easier jobs
  22. Ive got both original GTR boots in good condition for $40 delivered if you want them
  23. and were talking about the NEO rb25....i didnt think theyd need a collar like the early 32 GTRs
  24. perhaps a decent set of pads and fresh brake fluid too when fitting new turbos
  25. dont forget the clutch as a supporting mod!
