FOR SALE: 1998 Series 2 RB25DET engine. Comes with turbo,loom and ECU Engine has done about 48,000km. Came from Japan with around 44,000 on the clock and have just done first oil change on this. Currently fitting a rb26 into my r32 so just need to sell this engine. Engine was purchased from PowerPlay Imports and have all receipts to show this. Engine has been running stock standard and has not been boosted in AUS. Engine still in car if you would like a test of this. yeah the reason for a high mount is more cooling and also there is more room available to work with one big single. it will be easier to manage. Yet to be decided about the wiring loom, i will try and go for the GTST loom, (even tho mine has been cut 50 times and put back together) and go for the single AFM, but have to source out the PFC. or go with the GTR ProFC and get 2x Z32 AFM's. I will be HPC the manifold as well for the extra cooling to make sure that it all runs well, unlike yourself i dont have the vented bonnet more money later on for that.

Very nice choice.. as i am currently rebuilding a rb26, which has some nice mods in the engine and also opted for the same turbo, with custom manifold and innovative wastegate (brought from exXU1 on SAU).. Same setup, dropping this into a r32 gtst as well.. I have opted to go for the PFC so would be a good comparson to see these 2 cars go. My A/C only shoots out hot air as well Should really get that fixed on day. Let me know how the setup goes. mine wont be on the road for a while, just need some extra dosh to finish the engine off.

would you sell the tailshaft seperate? very interested

seems strange but i have the exact same issue.. mornings it creaks but after like a 30 - 40 min drive it stops most of the time. had the brushes replaced and this stopped it for a small amount of time. but i think it is the shocks that have worn on mine. replacing them soon anyways

will take front shocks and springs if they in good condition
