  1. is the speedo drive the same as an RB25DET drive? I need one as my little plastic cog is broken.
  2. Thats a pretty impressive gain, you using the stock AFM as well? I've just fitted one to my stock RB25 with FMIC and pod filter all else stock, I've had a fiddle around with it (small amounts of leaning out) and cant reeaaalllly tell any difference using the "seat-of-pants-o-meter". I dont wanna muck around with it too much, but i'd like some idea of what ppl's safc's are set to roughly, as far as % correction at what rpm etc? how rich do these things run?

  6. Hey u wouldnt be that white ute i saw in scabs on sunday with the front mount? If so then 'twas sweet. I would say 2.5 inch my theory being theres no point running bigger pipework than the size of the throttle body. Im sure others would insist on it being bigger.

  8. OK problem mostly solvered, Japanese wanker had blocked the oil breather completely so engine was pressurizing and forcing crap into the intake, cheers for the help tho!
  9. Ok if anyones had this prob with their r33 i need some advice, cars giving me the shits big time. It an R31 i just finished fitting a series2 rb25, its got a fmic and blitz BOV, standard everything else running 6psi. The prob is this, when i give it alot of shit, particularly after doing a big 2nd gear snaky in the wet, then back off, it blows a CRAPLOAD of smoke out the exhaust, but ONLY when i back off, not on acceleration. it cant figure out whether its fuel smoke or oil smoke. Also, after only about 1000k's of driving i removed my cooler to find it chockas full of oil. Ive got a spare turbo thinking that was it but they both do exactly the same thing, and both turbs seem fine. I was thinking along the lines of overfuelling due to a non plumb-back bov but seriously the road behind me is lost in the smoke its ridiculous. Also very strong smoke smell coming into the cab all the time while driving, but no leaks anywhere that i can see. Have i got two stuffed turbs? Hey, hate to hijack but you know, desperate times call for desperate measures.... anyway im doing the exact same conversion myself, RB25 into R31, I'm havin troubles figurin out how to wire up the fuel pump? Its ready to start and run (in theory) but i just cannot get the pump to start! Previously had NICS RB20DET, hooking up the fuel relay wires to the 25 loom just does nothing not happy Jan
  14. Im curious, how do you find the handling over the RB25? do you know the weight difference between the two? Is the VH all alloy?
