I've got a trust cat back system (not stainless tho) and is super quiet. Its too quiet tho, so im getting a new loud one put on the 25th feb. 3" piping 2 mufflers and 5" tip off rear muffler. Not cannon style. can send pics if you want

Any1 know of a cheap place I can just get my front bar resprayed black? Im going to be re-fibreglassing it in the next week or 2 including priming and sanding, so I just need a spraypainter or home job with good results to give it a few coats of skyline black Cheers

Heres my 2 cents if any1 cares. Firstly ive got my cars worked only at cypher, xspeed, genie and some unnamed tuner and found them in general to be bloody great. Cypher I found to be a bit expensive on most things but good workmanship and knowledge never the less. Xspeed are great, also a bit pricey but never had a problem with them (top notch). Genie for exhausts are fantastic, always willing to help and prices for labour can't be beat (if you just need something welded or flanged etc..) The unnamed one, basically I first went to him because he was cheaper than the rest and I knew a few other guys that had been there. He couldnt even diagnose wrong sized spark plug gaps, I thought it was something terminal wrong with my turbo after he finished with it after a service + plugs. I took it to Xspeed and they told me what it was before even looking at the car. So in that respect.. you get what you pay for. In conclusion.. you get what you pay for.. the only reason Im not getting my stuff done @ xspeed now is that ive only heard good things about hyperdrive (+ hyperdrive sell xforce exhausts) and was more than helpful with my stupid questions on the phone. It may be practically the other side of the world from where I live, but id prefer to do that than trust my car with some jerk mechanic around the corner

yeh .. as said in that post.. i got 2x 265x35x18 and 2x 245x45x18 for $1050 actually. Would reccommend them too, heaps better than the sumitomos and hankooks ive had on the back previously

or... take it back to where you got the service/work done and let them fix it. Thats if it was working fine before you went in. They probably would be able to tell you what it is straight away.. after all it is what they do for a living

No offence dude, if its xforce mild steel you can get em on ebay for $650 + $50 delivery. Stainless turbo back xforce exhausts are $950 Dont want to be a bastard tho, but id rethink the price

My car pops and gurgles on most gear changes if i leave a gap in the change. ie if I change gear slowly Not too sure if its just that your experiencing. If it is, im no mechanic but its probably nothing. Possibly gap in your spark plugs are too big? I had that problem and car was running like shit on boost (but you shouldnt be having that problem )

Well.. the time has come. I have to tint my car. I've looked at TKO tinting (www.tkotinting.com) and theres some real nice examples there. The guy who does it (trent) said its around $275-$295 for 20% black or 35%, or a fading black to silver reflective is about $375. question 1 - legalities of it. Whats the chances a cop will pull me up for reflective or 20% tint, if any1 has had experiences.. do tell question 2 - has any1 had there car done by TKO, and is he any good At the moment im thinking reflective like this one.
