  1. 'turbo lines' - more info please.. Meaning all the oil and water lines and fittings from the t28? Which ones, which fittings etc. Pics of all please .. and so on and so forth. Also inlet snout [email protected] Cheers, -Luke
  2. I want a 31 coupe.. and 32 gt-r rims.. *sulks in the corner*
  3. pleasure doing business with you sir! Im giving them a go at installation as I type this edit/update: the foot near the B pillar needs to be extended by one inch, which should be easy, but aside from that they went in perfectly and are far better than crappy stock S13 seats! Thanks Nick, youre a champ
  4. HKS use the housings, yes, but the internals are changed. Fin angles, spread, sizes, weights etc are generally different. For example, the HKS item might well flow the same amount of air, but will have better response and get on boost earlier. Its the little things that make a difference. You pay the extra $$ to get on boost a few hundred RPM earlier and spool back up faster after getting off the gas. I would love one of these GT-SS's on my SR20DET.. *drools*
  5. interested in the s14 stock turbo. more info please.. (freeplay, condition of fins, kms') And a ballpark price youre after would be nice too.. Cheers, -Luke
  6. interested in the 32 gts-t seats Where abouts are you? Im thinking about driving up to sydney tonight so perhaps pickup could be arranged? Cheers, -Luke
  7. keep me updated on the sale.. my silhouettes' LSD's cones have started to drill through each other :\
  8. whats included in the s14 subframe? If its complete (diff, axles, hubs) then im keen
  9. perhaps giving some more info on it might help... eg kms, mods, AUTO OR MANUAL, even?? Ill say $12k off the top of my head, because it looks pretty. It could be an auto with a blown engine and 300,000kms for all I know.
  10. Big thanks to both Robert and Adam - had my windows tinted at 5am this morning in 5%. Robert tells me to wait a week before making final judgement (for the water to evaporate etc), but so far everyone who has seen the car has loved it! Thanks!!!
  11. $50 if it and the brakelight are in good nick
  12. FWIW - those wheels will fit an S13 (with 5stud conversion) absolutely perfectly, with the wheel sitting in the perfect position relative to the guards front and rear. Those are actually my dream wheels.. if I wasnt broke id take them RIGHT NOW (hell i could even try driving down to get them haha)
  13. im very interested in this, but have no idea when i could get up there to get it done! My car is booked out for the next month with repairs and respray, so it would be as close to the finish date as possible.. It would also have to be friday night, or sat/sun - is that ok, or does it have to be standard business hours? S13 Silvia - theres no stuck-on tint on there already.. but theres a slight (5%?) tint in the glass itself i think.
  14. awesome, thanks mate! If you can do it, Ill give you a big sloppy kiss or a thank you.. your call
  15. on the S13 hub knuckle upright (where the strut attaches), the two bolts are 12mm, as opposed to the S14/15's 14mm. I am now using S14 hubs, so the holes are 14mm. With my current S13 cuscos, the holes in them are obviously 12mm, so I am using 12mm bolts through 14mm holes (on the hub). This does work, but is a bit of a dodgy approach... There are two options available for me, and that is to either drill the holes on the S13 coilovers larger to suit a 14mm bolt (removing the slop), or using s14/15 front coilovers. If at all possible, I would rather NOT drill my brand new coilovers, if I can somehow get them 'pre-drilled' from the factory, so to speak. Good stuff re. the adjustment capabilities. Ill take a set if i can get the money saved up in time (ill be putting min. $400 a week away, starting from next monday). If you can get me the S13 rears and S14/15 fronts in 7kg:f, 5kg:r (or 8/6 if need be) then ill see what i can do about borrowing the money to make it easier. Thanks a heap! -Luke
  16. Can I get S13 rear coilovers, with S14/15 front units? Id also like to double check that the height adjustment is separate to the spring preload adjustment, and that there is damper adjustment front and rear? And they come with the adjustable camber tops, correct? Thanks mate, very interested
  17. the site doesnt seem to have any specifications, only a list of cars they have coilovers for. In the picture they have of coilovers for the S13, though, there are a few questions id like to ask: 1. In the picture, there is no clip to hold the brake line: is that normal? My current cuscos have it there. 2. There are spring preload adjusters, but I cant see a separate ride height adjuster: Is that not a feature of these coilovers? How much am I looking at to get everything I need to bolt in these coilovers and be able to adjust camber and damper? Did I read it correctly that I have to pay extra to get the tops? Thanks mate
  18. Hi mate, what spring rates can you get for S13s? (silvia/180sx..) Im after something pretty soft due to the incredibly rough roads in my area, but I NEED adjustable camber tops at the front, and damper/spring tension adjusters.. plus a separate height adjuster would be good. 8kg:f, 6kg:r is the absolute hardest I will accept. Very interested, thanks mate.
  19. ive seen it done before, but i recommend using a single thick washer as opposed to multiple thin ones (for each bolt). Make sure the inner hole diametre is the right size for the thread (fits snugly) and there will be no issues with snapping/bending the bolts another option is to go for stiffer engine mounts/engine damper to reduce the engines' twist (thus touching the bar) if it still touches after using washers. Go for it!
  20. *digs up old thread* I was actually trying to find out the bore sizes of the skyline brake master cylinders in the hope of finding one with a larger bore than 15/16" (which all silvias have). I have since discovered that even the big brembo equipped Nissans still use only a 15/16" master cyl, so in the end I just got an S13 SR20DET unit (still 15/16"). I was at the time of starting this thread, hoping that someone would tell me that (for example) R32 GTRs used a 1" bore (or something like that) - which would mean I could then source a brake master cylinder that would make for an even stiffer pedal... I thought my post was rather simple, and after re-reading my post today I see the first stnad-out opportunity for correction was that I mentioned "so im thinking a 1" master cyl would be the go... opinions?" - instantly someone could have said "Nissans' largest master cylinder bore is 15/16". Case closed. Ark is a tool." but alas no.. I get someone telling me to downgrade to s13 brakes, and others telling me to use a 15/16" master cyl which wasnt my question... a bit like someone asking "im getting 18x10" rims, what offset do I need" and people replying with "you can use stock rims". I guess if I didnt know some of you in person, id figure you were all 14y.o dreamers who regurgitated "facts" they heard some other 14y.o say (like nissansilvia.com) Im sorry for the rant im doing now... people give me the shits when they dont listen
  21. lo all, just wondering if anyone has a spare 32 gtst passenger seat lying around - if so, how much are we looking at? ta
  22. gday all, ive now got s14a brakes on my S13 Q's, and obviously my current brake master cylinder is plain tiny. I need a bigger master cylinder that will bolt straight on to my car - ive heard that the s14 unit will go onto my booster, as will the r32 units. If anyone has a non-abs unit that will suit my needs, please let me know by any means. Thanks! -Ark Mobile: 0403 652 924 email: [email protected]
