  1. Nah, dont have a build thread, I don't come on here much. I was supposed to just do a 2.8 stroker, however, plans changed. I've got the 1.05 housing, however I feel it will run out of puff, so will have to see how the it goes when I get it tuned. If it runs out of puff, then will live with it till I can afford to stick the bigger housing, or a completely different turbo setup. Not sure when mine will be on the road, hopefully Feb, as I still have tonnes to do.. complete fuel system, accusump, etc etc. Whats your fuel setup? I'm probably going to go for a -10 feed and -8 return with a dual pump surge tank.. all e85 compatible lines etc.
  2. Interesting, I would have thought CNC would actually be cheaper then doing it by hand, especially that you pay for by the hour? Careful with the size of the HG, it has to be precise, otherwise you may risk det and will severely limit your power. I've got a 9180 with a 60mm wastegate. The head is where all the power is made, so its best to do the homework on it. It is rocket science once you start getting into the intricacies involved such as air speed and pressure at different points in the chamber(None of that which I understand tho )
  3. So you're going with the dome top pistons. Nice. Are you going to do any head work, eg porting etc? Also, what size gasket? I've got a 3.2 building going, and I have a full cnc ported head and built head with o/s valves etc. I'm probably going to stick a 1.2mm h/gasket
  4. Hey mate, Do you do a set inc the alternator? Price shipped to AKL NZ please(AUD)? Thank you!
  5. Get a crank/cam trigger kit.. dont rely on the ol' sensor.
  6. Thanks mate. Is that on a 2.8 and on 98 or flex? Looks like you were just under the line there - for the 8374, is it 125k max shaft. speed?
  7. You're on the waiting list as well. I've been recommended the 182-SE type that will be available Nov. Might work out as I intend on doing other things while my motors being built. How difficult was it to remove the AC lines and refit them for your bay respray? I'm actually thinking the same, although I have ABS, so that might be a bit of a pain.
  8. Thanks Geoff. I am going to be using a built and ported head as well as flex fuel. The only thing that worries me is the turbo running out of puff on the top end. Is there nothing in between a 1.01 and a 1.45? I really dont want to have to stick a 1.45 in there. I know a friend that runs one and is rather laggy, on a 3.2.
  9. Anyone have any experience with a 9180 1.01 on a 3.2? Hoping it will make 500.
  10. Thats fantastic, thank you so much. I spoke to a head machinist company, and they pretty much had said what you said about decking/seat/angles etc etc. What cams did you choose just out of curiosity? Feel free to PM me if you like. I'm possibly going to go for 280/280, but not 100% sure yet.
  11. Hi, Just wondering what other Nitto 3.2 owners are running or their heads? My 3.2 will be built in a few weeks, and am pondering on how much to spend on the head. I have a 9180 with a 1.01 hotside. Will be looking at flex fuel as well. What mods to the head are you guys running please? I have also bought a brand new head. So far I am thinking: Cams Tomei Cam gears(Already have) Supertech dual valve springs with Ti retainers(kit) Valve guides Stem seals I am also going to get the head ported and cleaned up where necessary. I don't intend on running more then 2bar, as the shaft speed will probably exceed 118k~. How far are you guys going in terms of porting and head work? I understand that the stock head will give me loads already, however a light touch up wouldn't hurt.
  12. Looking to buy for an R32 GTR: Front Bumper Front Reinforcement support bar AC Condenser Drivers side head light + indicator Thanks
