  1. haha nah the splitter is sheet aluminium. No I kept spring rates the same. RB25 and RB20 weigh pretty much the same. 10k front and 8k rear. Nothing too special
  2. It's bolted to the chassis further back. Had to weld an extension so it would protrude though. They never sell them long enough. With the splitter we have ideas on what we want to do long term but time doesn't permit for this year. Perhaps next year. Carbon fibre and much fancier diffusers.
  3. Unfortunately the new custom sump was modelled on an R33 and it didn't clear the swaybar enough when we put it in last week. Because of this we missed out at PI on the weekend. I had brand new rubber on the thing and was ready to go but no such luck... Upside to that is I got more done on the splitter. Only a little bit to go and it'll be done. Thanks to Matt and the guys at SX Developments for the advice and sharing their support frame design. Started with an MDF sheet Also fitted up a power steering cooler to get past some heavy steering after a few laps.
  4. More like a new carbon job haha. Pics here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.426829424001382.81953790.417836081567383&type=3
  5. When was that?
  6. Thanks for the PM Matthew. Hopefully the info will help catch em.
  7. Yeah I'm still keeping a look out for parts
  8. Cool I wanna be in a garage near you guys then haha
  9. That's a great idea. Have you asked them to do it? Put in on their FB page. Probably gets the most attention haha.
  10. Centre console now sold. Thanks James.
  11. Traction tyres in Roweville for Advans. Hankooks not sure.
  12. I'm out fellas. Enjoy. I emails Neil today. Unfortunately my new sump isn't quite doing the trick. Hope it's good weather out there for you guys. I'm staying posted to make sure I get an entry into 21/7. NEED more testing time before WTAC.
  13. Yeah I much prefer the modest aero compared to the hammerhead, 7m long silvias and batmobiles. Cyber evo and sierra have showed that you don't need stupid protruding aero to win. Subtlety and discrete clever unseen aero mods are way cooler and still keep the cars looking tough. Cyber this year looks hideous but what can you expect from C-west. Voltex are very clever in my books. Just look around the car parks at track days and you'll see every frieken evo has a voltex wing, voltex canards, voltex front lip, voltex roof wings etc. Their products are functional but not detracting away from the original car. How many snow ploughs are c-west gunna sell after WTAC??? lol
  14. You'll never go back I guarantee.
  15. lol. So Ben. Series 1 is 89-90? Series 2 91-93? Mine is a 90 model.
  16. Yeah Racepace are making me a sump and modified pickup. It is gated. Getting fitted today. Yeah 25 box. Loom is yet to be stripped out... Door intrusions will be removed soon. Even with fibreglass doors you still need to retain the latch and hinge so I'll stick with my steel doors till I have some money to burn. Think the next big thing after I strip doors and fit lexan will be the loom. cbf at this stage. If I have time before WTA I'll give it a go. thanks for the input.
  17. Cool thanks.
  18. http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/open-class-russell-cunningham-r32-gtst/ Link to the write up on the WTAC website.
  19. Any update on entry forms for the 21 July round at PI?
  20. Yeah Duncan I was quite surprised with the balance. I was expecting way more front heavy with the big RB. It is very good on tyres. One of the benifits of a GTSt
  21. It's weird but I can't bring myself to paint the guards and bumper haha. I like the whole underdog / budget racer look. If there's time I will get it painted but to be honest its a low priority. Yep Import monster are still on board. Now also Advan and as always Ace Workshop. With the weight don't forget I have a lot more bars in mine than yours. With only the half cage it would be more like 1250 or so.
