  1. Yeah. guards are a bit 'scorch racing' haha
  2. Great weeks work by ACE Workshop and it's now ready to race. After all the tuning we've discovered that the intercooler has been a limitation and 'only' pushing around 250rwkw's. Still way more than I'm used to and heaps more torque over the old setup. It's very drivable for the short amount I've driven it on the street. Custom clutch pivot bracket by ACE as the original was bending. You may also notice the wing is now on Sunday I'm going to sandown for the first outing. Can't wait!!! All stickered up. You may notice a sticker on the boot. It's a crossed out GTR badge. I'm sick of getting confused for a GTR. It's understandable now with the GTR front but I used to get it with the GTSt front?! Just to confirm this is NOT a GTR haha. GTR
  3. Just Jap can get replacement rotors. You'd have to call them though.
  4. No issues on WRX days. Go down and introduce yourself to people.
  5. Northern - Centreline. Ask for Chris and have your wallet ready. Eastern - traction tyres. Tim is generally the guy you would want. He's the young guy with the pommy accent. Good bloke.
  6. haha you answered your own question
  7. Very quiet in here. Is everyone too busy building their cars?
  8. If you wanna get technical Chris's are G4's like mine Same sh1t
  9. Yep. My 34 at winton was with no pad material left at all on one side haha. Seriously though, get a Ksport 356 kit. Working well on Chris's car and only just over 2k.
  10. Yeah! What 1:16 It never happened lol
  11. Success today. Held 15 psi and made 250rwkw. More to come when we can put more boost into it.
  12. They do for 32. Ring JJ. They're pretty helpful. Might be some available in the future.
  13. Good stuff Kez. You'll love it.
  14. New 10mm slip on spacers are a perfect fit on the front. They were custom made for us locally. Also have Nismo long wheel studs installed. These were needed for inner clearance for the front. Now effectively 10.5 +5 lol Custom tailshaft loop made to accomodate the big exhaust and way stronger than the standard one.
  15. This was considered but couldn't be done without redoing the whole manifold. Tuning tomorrow. See how we go... Yeah Roy is a big fan of standard manifold. Good for torque and mid range response. From what we saw when it was on the dyno this comes on really early anyway. We'll see tomorrow.
  16. V8 wing in canada. That would be cool. What model V8 supercar is it off? VY/VZ?
  17. If I'd know you were selling the wing I might have grabbed it for my car. Oh well...
  18. lol at autosalon... Good to see it's track ready again
  19. Some more awesome fabrication from ACE Workshop. Should fix the boost control issues...
  20. Thanks for the input guys. I honestly didn't consider it. They guy making this wing for me has mostly made drag wings and is only making what I'm asking him to make. It has a big surface area and I expect a big increase in downforce compared to what I've had. The front splitter/undertray I am fitting also isn't huge. It's a start and I could easily get this guy to make up the gurney flap and a bigger undertray when I have a better idea of what I want. It's all testing to me as I have had little exposure to the big dollar stuff you guys have seen. Feel free to invite me into your pits at superlap *wink-wink* Ben
