  1. Spotted after Powerplay in Sydney a blue r34 GTR with GTR70Y plates anyone know who it is and if so message me I was the one having a play with him in a blue r35 I'd like to know how much power he has etc Ps it sounded mental in boost
  2. Mines or Amuse but expect to pay the around $6-$7k just for a catback
  3. Cheers what's his user name and it would look good with 3 blue r35's cruising around Newcastle or wherever
  4. Is that the one with GTR505 plates and I'm working that day I'm going to try get it off
  5. Sounds great mate I'm keen on which ever day and I know at least one other r35 that will be super keen as well
  6. That's what I was aiming for but no one seemed to keen for it which is a shame
  7. Only got this pic which some randoms took and I ended up getting tagged in it
  8. It's was good catching up mate and great chat learn more and more everyday with these things. Maybe next time we will have more people interested
  9. I may come just gotta see if I can get off work that day and many other r35's attending?
  10. No need to be a racist pig and new members being housos?? yeah sorry mate but I actually have a r35 like many new members here and you clearly do not belong in this forum if your so V8 minded and have so much hate for us and our cars!!! Close this thread please or someone put a link up for a Commodore forum for him
  11. 3X the price of the new VF I don't think so and fine put it against your beloved corvette zr1 or whatever it would smash it round a track and on the straight I don't think there would be much difference and remember these so called cars 1/3 the price have more power!!! Also look at M3s and stuff they are dearer then the gtr are as well and gtr is best value for money when you put it against super cars that are dearer but are they faster NO so your price there's goes your price tag theory Discopumpkin
  12. Gtr r35 would dominate both
  13. No offence but your imports must of been lemons or something I know many people who have been V8 crazy until they sit in a boosted import and change there mind about them straight away and never the other way around
  14. In saying all that my mate has a gtr r32 which ran a 10.9 on pump fuel and running twin turbos still with bugger all lag and on a launch it took off faster then mine and it feels so much faster and that's a street car stock transmission and wasn't even a perfect run and got kicked off. Don't bag out my turbo lag it gives your V8 a chance
  15. I ain't complaining haha I actually think its a joke mysef lol And as for seeing idiot r35 drivers to be honest there's not much on the street which would be worth toying around. I also always have people drive like idiots around me or ss's rev me up and try race me I pretty much just take a quick look and laugh. No offence to anyone but I just hate to see a grown man cry
  16. Ill have it paid off in just under 5years and I pay 7% interest. To be honest I think after that time it should still be worth a minimum of $80k just look at the gtr r34 the value of them and look how old they are. I also have a deposit for a house and thinking about getting an investment property as well but with the car loan I don't think I will go too well but who's knows. Also I've sat in my mates cammed up ve ss high 12s commodores and there's no way that I find them more fun then my GTR just the power delivery and handling around corners is excellent
  17. That's exactly how I see it and I don't feel I need to lie about it what point does that make. Unfortunately I wasn't raised up with a silver spoon and was taught if I wanted something to work hard for it which I am/have no offence to anyone else at all I just know a lot of people see my car jaw dropped and then see me hop out of it and say I bet mummy and daddy bought that for him. A cop pulled me over once and asked if I got it as a 21st present I replied with "I wish they would be the best parents in the world" lol
  18. Most people on here would own theres and with my repayments I will have it payed off in less then 5 years also I don't see how that's funny that I admit I have a decent amount of loan for one but each to there own I guess
  19. Hi guys Just wondering if many people were keen on doing a meet up I'd like to meet some other people with these amazing cars and see what mods and all you's are running. I understand most people would be from Sydney so I guess we could meet up there maybe at the drags on a Sunday or a Wednesday night have a bit of fun or meet up somewhere else if you's have any other suggestions
  20. Well I am Asian and I been working at my parents shop since I was 12 (I know what yor thinking the slave life) and working 2 jobs when I was 16 staring an apprenticeship doing horticulture then when I was 22 I got a job as a TA in a power station working a 3on 3off roster and making double of what I use to and still working at my parents shop. I don't exactly own the car I still have a loan of $100k I was as surprised as most of you's when Volkswagen finance gave me the thumbs up for the loan and it was my first one apart from a personal loan for my evo. People tell me I should of bought a house or something but I work alot and like to spend money and the little time I have on things I enjoy like my GTR
  21. I upped my excess and lowered my premium excess is about $4500 which is dear but when it's for a car insured for $135k that's peanuts
  22. It really doesn't make sense when I rang up for the quote I double checked and made sure she knew my age and the value of the car and then I explained to her that my Evo 9 was insured for like 1/4 of the price and cost me just under $2k then she told me that's why Falcommodores are dear because young people get them and crash them doing fully sick skids lol she also told me why its cheap she said that because the newer the car the cheaper the insurance as parts are easier to find and etc also it goes on statistics of how many have been crashed and that apparently but hey I ain't complaining
  23. Mines insured for $135k and its $1200 a year full comprehensive with Just Cars and only in my name and I'm 23 I was expecting around $5k and no one ever believes me when i tell them how cheap my insurance is
  24. I drive mine comfortably on long trips and simple short trips just to do the shopping and park it anywhere without worry to be honest mine doesn't even sit in a shed it sits out the front in my drive way... I'm not in a relationship but if I was and trusted them enough sure I'd let them drive it... I have a 2011 model and has just under 30,000kms on it I drive my car to enjoy not let it sit in the shed and try hold resale value by keeping km's down as I don't plan to sell it and i like to make my money's worth out of my services etc
  25. Stock tyres which are run flat semi slicks and I think another main reason is when they launch they don't seem like they take off that quick due to it not letting the tyres spin I've seen others get 1.6 with launch and boost off the line which puts more power to the wheels and lets it spin there was a comparison of stock launch and a boosted launch and it made a massive difference
