  1. I had several runs and was also told to have comfort mode on but noticed that I was getting better times with all in R mode and I had 31psi last time and went pretty good... You still going there Wednesday night?
  2. Awesome I'll see you down there I will be there with a few mates in there Evos and that's what I was thinking so hopefully we get a fair few runs I've never had a run at night only through the day when it has been really hot and humid so it would be interesting to see if if makes much of a difference
  3. What were your 60" times Domino I was getting 1.856 at 127mph 11.24s are any of you's heading to eastern creek on Wednesday night it would be good to see a few more down there rather then just mine
  4. What year model is yours and my best run was 11.24 I own a 2011 only had k&n panel filters and all in R mode. I now have a mines midpipe and am going to eastern creek next Wednesday also looking at getting a Ecutek tune as I watched a clip of there BOTL (boost off the line) and it hooks up really well instead of bogging down that tiny bit on launch 60" times were smashed from standard launch
  5. 1.2011 models and up are suppose to be better although the 2011 model is know to have a tortional dampener issue 2.From what I hear they don't 3.No this does not void warranty on the car unless a fault occurs due to the performance mod also depends on your GTR dealer 4.Willall racing do a lot of things to strengthen them and sort out old issues I got mine second hand and there was pretty much no negotiating. Mine was owned by a bloke that is on his 4th one and gets a new one every 6months he buys his from WA they are cheaper there and gets it delivered to him. I hope this helps and please correct me if I'm wrong on any of these but this is what I have heard. Hope this helps mate
  6. I know this subject may have been discussed but I know both have been updated and wanted some more info from people who personally have these to help me decide which way I'd like to go with mine I have a 2011 with mines mid pipe and k&n panel filters currently ran a personal best of 11.2 without the midpipe. I'd be interested to see what mods you guys are running and power output even 1/4 mile times
  7. The carbon build up and also I reckon it would be loud as f*** and draw attention and get me defected especially being a full titanium set up I'm looking at getting the Amuse r1 Titan 90spec catback
  8. I've got the Mines titanium straight converter type 2 I was thinking about going full catless with downpipes as well but I don't think that would be too wise
  9. Nah I have the bridgestones on mine and I looked at getting the dunlops but old mate says they are heaps dearer and thought I may as well stick to the same brand I ordered them from Tempe Tyres the other place quoted me just under $900 each so about $1700 for the pair so I'm saving at least $500. Next time I need tyres I will probably get a full set of the new bridgestones the R2's
  10. Yeah I thought so it says in the manual to replace all 4 if any are damaged for even wear I just bought 2 rears and it cost me $1260 delivered to my door not bad but pretty dear for the damage of one screw
  11. I owned a Evo 9 before I got my MY11 r35 and honestly I haven't looked back apart from driving a manual can be alot more fun and also the blow off valve sound haha But seriously the GTR makes the Evo seem like its a Excel and with the amount of money you need to put into most cars to have the same amount of power is it worth it and then also reliability once u have all that power the GTR has a lot of hidden power which can be extracted from basic mods and still remain a reliable 10s street car. I hope this has helped you out
  12. I'm going to get it checked tomorrow and when I got my first warning light on I checked had all the tyres checked and most were around 29 and 28 then one of them we 26 and they were pumped to 32psi... I recently had them set to 31 just last week so it will be interesting to see if its the same tyre which was low last time... Also lets say it was a tyre that's damaged am I better off replacing the 2 or just the one?
  13. Has anyone had a problem with nitrogen leaking or anything I had mine done a month ago and I had a warning light come up so I've had them filled again and it hasn't even been a week and my lights come on again. What do you's think it would be? I hope it's not the tyres they are pretty much new not even 5000kms on them
  14. I think I'm just going to get a Cobb off Martin and any other mods you's guys have apart from midpipes that are good value for money??
  15. What other little bolt ons would you suggest and just a tune in general does wonders in these things. I'd probably rather keep my panel filters instead of going pods to avoid unwanted attention. I was also worried about warranty then thought stuff it these cars are pretty reliable and if it goes it goes lol
  16. It's not but I can get it tuned and get more power out of it whether I was getting a mid pipe or not so I don't see why not
  17. There's no possible way I can get my car too willall and I was told I can get a tune which they had done for there hill climb car with a mid pipe 365kw it made and still deciding I got a month and abit before I get my midpipe so I have awhile to decide
  18. I'm still favouring the EcuTek atm that way I have my own tune to my mods
  19. I was going more towards the Cobb but atm ecutek doesn't sound too bad and mine is a 11 so the tcm wouldn't work in my favour... A plus side with Cobb it it can be tuned back to factory and back to the dealer but with ecutek it can't and I was going to Tune house originally then Cobb sounded more worth it. I would love to hear more feedback on which is better and none of them have a flex fuel system running there both working on it. Another good think about the ecutek is its tuned to the car itself instead of maps from others which could vary depending on mid pipe and intake mods etc
  20. I also ran a 11.5 stock and 11.2 with just k&n panel filters and tyre pressures at 32psi on a fairly hot and humid day. I'm interested in what time ill get with a midpipe and tune
  21. Unfortunately yes this is true but from what some people have told me is that it depends on the dealer and with the Cobb you can simply just unplug it when visiting the dealer... Also I'm around the Newcastle area
  22. Hey guys I'm planning on getting my car tuned after I get my mines mid pipe put on and wondering what places you's recommend and have experience with. Also if Cobb tune or Ecutek which is better and if anyone knows whether the tune actually voids the cars warranty??
  23. Thanks guys I will definitely remember this for when I'm going down the road for an upgrade
  24. Mine had 23,000 and I will deffo be going for aftermarket most likely Alcon atm I couldn't afford for my pads and rotors to go and from what I have read the R35's are best on the track with the traction off as even in R mode it restricts them and once it's off voids all warranty and sends a message and GPS location of where it was turned off at. I've also been informed that the black box which stores data deletes itself after every 3000kms correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I have been told from the Dealer which services my car not from the dodgey place I purchased it from
  25. lReally that's awesome I heard they didn't replace them as its wear and tear?? I bought mine from a dealership whic I will not not but tried selling me the car with cracked rotors and pads were stuffed and told me it was wear and tear after not even owning it for a week. Eventually Col Crawford nissan assessed it told them they were not road worthy and it ended up costing them $6500 for front rotors and pads and labour which was trade price. If anything I'm going to go aftermarket a set of Alcons I think alot cheaper then factory and better so I been told
