  1. This is once again absolutely mental results Stao. All these good state of the art turbochargers coming from you stao makes it hard to actually pick a single turbo lol. There all so good in there own individual way. . I'm stuck between a hta 3076r or hta 3582r in the FP range. But then stao brings out these crazy power making turbo's as above the ss3 VNT. I wish I could afford them all and bolt them to 3 different rb skylines haha. Hta's are F ing epic but I keep coming back to thinking support the local Aussie bloke busting his arse to deliver some of the best matched, made and suited turbos for our humble RB machines How much for the SS3 VNT do you think stao? There a ceramic bearing turbo right stao? I'm so keen to run one on my forged+cammed e85 sucking RB25. The r33 is currently at work getting prepped to respray it original KR4 silver. So it's tidy looking to a tee. Rwc I hope rego and bring on a high mount I should so stop drinking now lol. I'm rabbiting on like a goose. Haha Cheers Josh and night all.
  2. I'm gonna be a smartass here and say twins are so back in the mid 90's like the old blitz, top secret, greddy, endless, HKS ect. Ect. Drag gtrs with the big twin GT3040's GT3037's GT2835's trust twin t67's and the twin blitz's and Apexi's. Also yes yes yes I realize these are not factory replacements lol but still twins with messy piping and what not are just old school to me haha. I do realize -5's -7'd -9's -10's have there place for a stealth police friendly look. I guess I'm just a whore for mid to mid/large size singles. I think singles have better drivability feeling and other reasons listed in other threads. Feel free to flame me twin lovers as I've had a few to many beverages tonight for the B/day.and thought I'd try to stir a couple members up. Lol excuse the spelling mistakes as I can hardly see the phone letters haha. Cheers Josh
  3. I've got a single 044 that has been made to be a drop in. From memory I had to modify my cradle to make it a drop in. I put that in probably 5 or so years back. If I were to do it today I'd just use a walbro e85 friendly pump. Well plans are for me to make 400kw if I can. So I'll need to upgrade my pump. If memory serves me right the 044 flows 300lph but I could be wrong. 5+ yrs back memory not so great from regular weekend alcohol abuse haha. I'm more than likely still going a hta 3076r or 3582r on my built 25. Unless stao can come up with something pretty similar. Prefer to support a local bloke if I can. But FP hta just seems the ducks nuts at the moment lol.
  4. What does a 040 flow and what's a 044 flow? Sweet f all compared to the new walbro's
  5. As has been covered Bosch 040 is poo compared the walbro pumps. Really depends what your future goals for the car are. That will determine which pump you use mate.
  6. I know the nismo pump is 100% drop in. The e85 460lph walbro make not be direct drop in but it is a intank fuel pump still. And still can be a drop in with a bit of basic mucking around. So yes it is a drop in fuel pump still as if drops into the tank. Just not a DIRECT drop in as the nismo pump is. keep in mind though the walbro is basically hAlf the price of the nismo. Cheers Josh
  7. Nismo drop in. Or a e85 400lph walbro will do the job Thetis drop in models for skylines on eBay for around $200ish. There is a 450-460lph version swell that's drop in. You may as well go a e84 friendly one for the future. Cheers josh
  8. It would have to be one of garretts biggest mis matched turbos in gt form. I guess there must be a market for them though. I can't imagine how lazy the gtx version would be on a rb20/25. Makes my stomach turn thinking about it haha.
  9. What is the manifold made of mate? Steampipe or stainless? Does it form into a merge collector and is it t3? More pics?
  10. If your on jungle juice would you pass with a 400 cell cat in place? And if you go through the hassle once and show following offices your EPA emissions test has past certificate perhaps one would be ok? Added things if your not getting up it and driving hard around town you should be right. I also love screamers myself but on the street having it plumbed in is the go for noise level reduction. But what ever you do they'll do one better at times. Other thing would be have a tune in your ecu to switch maps to a EPA safe tune perhaps? I dunno lol just trying to hope when I put my new top mount kit on I wont put off the road. Oh well I'm leaning towards a hta gt3582r at the moment with a twin scroll ass on it. Unless stao can make me something close to it's performance.
  11. Your welcome. There is always lots of good info coming up on SAU. You just have to keep reading and researching. But turbos have come so so far from gt3082r's I never liked the 56t 3040 anyway.
  12. And seriously what can they say to that? Nothing I would have thought. How can they prove it's not?
  13. With a rb25/30 I'd go a hta3586r instead of the 82r version. With the extra capacity you would think it.d havd to be on by 4000rpm. And with a rb30 stroker as you mentioned I'd be looking at a hat super 94 I believe there called Lithium correct me if I'm wrong.
  14. Couldn't have said it better myself Lithium
  15. Ah just say this model skyline was the Bathurst "SPECIAL RACE ADDITION" and it was released with a top mount turbo officer. Get a little tag made up saying genuine Nissan on the turbo and manifold somewhere and bobs your uncle. Lol maybe.
  16. You can get e85 delivered in drums but it's quite expensive isn't it compared to at the pump.? Better off going water methanol + 95-98 octane fuel preferably 98 octane and water/meth as jet_r31 mentioned. Cheers Josh
  17. Sounds like a boost leak to me. Go around and check all your silicone joiners for splits, especially the the elbow that's used off the compressor side outlet. Cheers josh
  18. Bahahaha. Has to be a f**king female for sure. Always has to have the last say. Another thread that could have been wrapped up in a couple of posts. With a attitude like yours pumpkin head you will not go very far. Work on your attitude problem and do some more research. I don't know what you have been trying to prove against respected SAU members "GTScoTt and GTSBoy" that help people on SAU with topics day in and day out With proper relevant information from years of experience and research. So give it a break your not adding any relivance. I could go on but I can't be Fu*ked on a little girl troller. Cheers Josh
  19. Your right GTSBoy I mis typed that pumpkin head is far from ahead but he should quit and do some more research.
  20. Pumpkin just give up while your ahead and listen to GTScotT.
  21. Who ever originally done the test must have had a warehouse of precision turbos to sell haha. Cheers josh
  22. Darren just buy my HKS 2535.no more lag than a 2530. And on a ca18det would be crazy fun alround. Comes with dump oil water lines. $950ono. .64 rear. I had one on my s13 ca18det 8-9 years ago and was mental fun. Done 15,000km in 5-6yrs, bought néw from created in Melbourne. Just a thought. Perfect condition. Come off my r33. It's still on there matter a fact. Could even put it in the .48 housing as you mentioned above and sell the HKS rear. ???But I'd leave .64 cos.48 would choke it wouldn't it Darren ?? Anyway just a offer mate. Sorry to pinch the thread. Cheers Josh.
  23. Neo rods are same as rb26 rods and are proven for 400kw atw's.. Other wise eagle rods are only $500 these days. But standard rods with new rod bolts are more than enough. N1 oil pump atleast. Or use your old one with a set of gears in it with a crank collar. You should be at 300kw at ease with a gtx3076. I also suggest you do some reading before you ask simple questions like this that's been spoke about 50 times before. Lock thread.
