    You know when I read this I thought you were dead set mental. Then it happened to me! Was raining, was approaching a hill. Car got noticeably louder. Was weird. Lasted 10 seconds or so. All I can put it down to is something happening to your ears, due to the pressure changing due to the weather. Something scientific like that.
