    When you realise how Phillips head is designed to cam out when the torque is high it is f**king ridiculous it is still in use.

    I thought most people knew that. You get away with it on the number 2 phillips size most the time, but on number one size you will round shit off.

    Still a hard no on me believing springs and retainers change an engines sound. Valve follows cam. Unless springs can't control valve, which is bad. Yep springs have harmonics and all kinds of design considerations, but they don't change the sound unless your previous springs were somehow allowing the valve to bounce around all the time which would be quite bad. Why did you just change springs and retainers?

    But how? You know how an engine works right? How is it even remotely possible that changing springs and retainers affects the sound at all?

    It's not that different. An rb20de will sound just a shit as an rb25de. Pedestrians will hear it for longer as it is slower.

    It should be fairly obvious you can't double fuel flow and expect the car to run.

    No way would you pull the inlet manifold off just to powdercoat it. You do that when the engine is out for work. Are you planning on taking the car off the road for a month?
