  1. You are wrong. It can be done. It's not the best option though. There's a guide somewhere in the net.
  2. Same tuner?if yes did you ask him why hr didn't do it the first time?
  3. So 1500 RpM better response with vct! Was can timing changed at all or just vct?
  4. And the pad even had rotor direction marked on them.....
  5. Applies to 4 pistons. Serious. Not theory. Shit is real.
  6. Some calipers (a lot) have different sized pistons. They are designed for the small piston to make contact first then the large. Confusing cos the disc is a circle, imagine putting a dot on the disc and rolling the car forwards. The dot should go past the small piston on the caliper then the larger piston. If the other way around crazy vibrations may occur and probably strange pad wear. And the reason for the difference with the bleed nipple needing changing or being upside down is some cars have the calipers in front of the axle, some behind. Sounds heaps confusing now that I have written it. Hope someone can explain it better!
  7. Its not as simple as swapping sides. If you do that the large piston is on the leading edge of the disc. The bleeder and bypass on the caliper needs to be swapped.
  8. They at least had the sense to get he leading edge of the caliper on the correct side of the disc on the car. The pistons are different sizes and getting that wrong would be more problematic than bleeding. The bleeder and bypass lines can be swapped easily. I agree though, pretty sloppy to have installs like that.
  9. Cmon.... OK. Reverse out of shop. Limiter launch away. If car breaks push back in for warranty repair.
  10. So you are taking out a seat with an airbag in it? I imagine that would be illegal right? And it seems kinda silly to me.
  11. Visually they look the same as the Vf brembo calipers, which definitely have different sized pistons. . Can that be conformed?
  12. Scotty's post is a bit misleading. Of course the ecu would need a spare input. But to assume any ecu with a spare input can interpolate tunes between e85 and petrol is not correct.
  13. Never come on here? How did you post this ad then hey? -_-
  14. Just wondering what examples if crank girdle blowing out you have? Considering "Vlgod" split a block lengthwise under the head studs and the crank apparently stayed in after running absolutely heaps of 7 second passes with the block . block split with 70psi boost.....
  15. If the air con has no gas in it it doesn't actually turn on the compressor, so it wouldn't have pumped stuff through. Stuff would have just got in on its own free will, probably wouldn't have got out of the hose into other bit. See what the air con guy says.
  16. And out of curiosity doors that fit a neo head seeing as they are different.
  17. The only slight issue is caliper adaptors would need to be engineered for road use in Australia. However I've never heard of any insurance issues with not having them engineered
  18. Yeah thats crazy cheap. Can't pass that.
  19. I havent seen it, but am interested. From what I can tell they are the same calipers as used on our Holden commodore ss redline. The front calipers and rotors can be purchased brand new just over 1000, but the rotors are wrong stud pattern for Nissan. Haven't seen price for calipers in their own but are probably reasonable.
