    Does the head have the front drain? Edit... Noticed it doesn't. Weird.

    Timing fluctuations at idle are normal as the ecu uses timing along with the IAC valve to control the rpm. Check for vacuum leaks and set the idle screw in the aac or IAC or whatever its called on a 33. That broken cas mount is nuts!

    Do you want to tell us how much boost its running? Perhaps its running too much boost and it has a boost leak. Which would cost nothing to fix

    Do you have a reference for that? Normally a commercial vehicle such as a van or its costs more to register.

    Pretty sure air con is on its own. No. I guarantee it. Thats why it has its own idler to adjust it. Water pump and alternator together, alternator tensions it. Power steer in its own, pivots to tension itself.

    Makes way more sense to pressure test it. Google hot to pressure to test intercooler pipework.

    Good on you or your builder for actually checking. I'm betting heaps get slapped together with no idea of the compression ratio.

    Could be other things. How much boost is it running? The r33 ecu isn't tuneable, so you can't just get a tune. A tuneable ecu installed and tuned could be close to 2000. You have to decide if it's worth it.

    Why did you test it? Any problems? If not just drive it. People get caught up and just confuse themselves with comp tests.

    I should add won't fit easily, meaning it is still able to be made to fit but is a silly waste of time and money. Find a nice rb25 neo engine and drop that in.
