  3. Yep. I forgot to mention mine has pacemaker 4 into 1 headers and some aftermarket cats. With 2 hotdogs at the rear was way too loud with the cam.
  4. Something else. a lot has changed in the last few months of turbo tech for bolt on 20 year old engines. .. Oh wait. No. That hasn't happened. And won't. Meaning for the exact same reasons a Hypergear hi flow was recommend it is still the best option for you.
  5. I'm talking about the rear muffler, replacing that with two. Hooker aero chamber mufflers are sweet but wouldn't fit at the rear, and are slightly tricky to fit in the center of a commodore, as you really need offset in and out. And more expensive. I'm surprised to see the exhaust uses slip joints at the back, that's a bit crusty. A proper bolted flanged connection like factory (and xforce ) is heaps nicer.

  9. When I bought mine it had an xforce system with 2 hotdogs at the back. Too loud especially at cruise Rpms. Since putting in the cam (232 at 50) it was unbearable. Ended up squeezing 2 of these in at the back, not much room in a sedan, not sure if ute has more or less. I welded the 2 mufflers together as they have to touch each other to fit.   11. Based on what you have described your car wouldn't turn off by using the key, is that the case?
  12. Your a funny one aren't you.. I don't know what's wrong with your car based on your very short post. Remember you are requesting help, so it would be wise to explain as much as you can about your car. Or should random guesses occurr?

  15. Tuners just tap away at the laptop typically. I would be genuinely surprised if they pulled off the cover to check the dots. You should though.
  16. Have you confirmed vct is working? I would be double checking cam timing, check the dots and report back.

  18. Also it tends to be the engine worn out dripping pressure rather than the pump went out.

  20. Thicker oil. What gauge were they using? I hope not the stock one. Its not particularly easy to replace the pump, so I would be trying thicker oil first.

  22. What boost? Have you ever serviced the car? Commodores aren't all slow. Can you be more specific or will random guesses be sufficient? My guess is big boost leak.
