  1. 350. Looks like fun! Congrats on getting there.
  2. I have to ship an auto to Vic from SA. Any recommendations from people who have done it? How and who to use and approx cost, Thanks Ben
  3. I would be checking that the coolant has been bled correctly.
  4. Yep. Maybe. Or maybe not. If it's a 10 grand engine then its shit isn't it.... Amount of doors doesn't really factor in.
  5. If you didn't have the key you can hardly blame the shop for not being able to properly remove or reinstall the locknuts. What would you have done if you got a flat Tyre? Glad you sorted it.
  6. Is there a good choice in that shot?
  7. Pro less restriction , potentially more power Light weight Cons Illegal. Environment hazard Louder A straight pipe makes way more sense than a bent one in place of a cat. Couldn't figure that out yourself?
  8. Just to add to my previous post, power makes no difference to valve spring requirements. How does the valve know how much power its making? Revs, cam profile and boost are basically the factors. Notice how engines valve float but when boost is reduced can still rev cleanly to redline? The valve opens and shuts just the same when at max revs regardless of power output, the difference is how much boost acting against the inlet valve closing.
  9. The pressure applied by boost to the back of the inlet valve is how they know. The more boost the more pressure trying to open the valve. So running 20 psi adds 20 psi of opposing force to the spring being able to close the inlet valve.
  10. Standard 300 kW car. Sick! Diff is broken. Pull it apart. Sounds bad. Like unable to be fixed by the internet.
  11. If you have a Neo engine I can help out with a mod to be able to adjust the inlet cam without having to remove it.
  12. No. How did you come to that conclusion? Its kinda mental....
  13. The 32 has lived a long life already without the perceived magic of royal purple oils. As previous posts have suggested there are cheaper local options that are available.
  14. Sort of. Selling the pair is way more convenient, but could sell just one. Send me a on and see of we can work out a price. Cheers
  15. Only stock rear shocks and springs that were in good condition. If that helps you. 50 bucks unless I'm dreaming.
  16. Weird. I have a mate with a vy ss he runs on e10 and it hammers. For a stock car... Gets driven extremely hard all the time and no dramas.
  17. Yeah, but does it damage the o2 sensor and if so how? A fault code indicates an out of spec condition, eg too lean like you say. Running 10 percent ethanol would require a 3 or 4 percent richer mixture, well within the ecu capabilities, so I don't see how there's such a big problem. I don't doubt you have seen it. But I just winder if it really is the e10 doing it So are you saying that a commodore that can run e85 will kill o2 sensors in 6 months? I find that hard to believe.
  18. Are you using the correct washers?
  19. Does ethanol kill o2 sensors? How does 10 percent cause a problem ?
  20. Where are you ? I'm in adelaide and have one you can have.
  21. Maybe. Ive reused gaskets no worries. I've also had weird shit happen. Like a bolt fall out of the turbo core that holds the exhaust housing on. Was quiet at idle then noisy when revving. Took a bit to find. And was an absolute bitch to get in while still on the car (low mount)
  22. Use a piece of hose against your ear and pointing at where you think the leak is to pinpoint it.
  23. Exactly. Its due to the fact the AFM reads the actual amount of air entering the engine so fuels according to that. Using a map sensor the ecu calculates the amount of air based on pressure and temperature. As the different setup will draw more air at the same pressure, the fuelling will be off. In both cases a tune is required, as the ecu is going to reference different cells in different conditions, however if the car previously had an AFM and still did with new setup, the fuelling would be very close still.
  24. No AFM equals heaps different tune.
