  1. Aren't the type a cams from tomei for the neo 252 and 260. Can't remember which was which (inlet or exhaust) I don't think you can get a pair of 252s from tomei for the neo. Wonder why......
  2. Cam and or ignition timing being wrong would cause that.
  3. Alloy, and between the throttle and manifold so no heat soak benefits.
  4. I'm going to vote for plazmaman. Having never tried any but based on how much effort manufacturers go to to get long runners. Even on large v8s long runners very time. Factory cars want torque, long runners win.
  5. Yep. I should have realised yours was s1 based on the reo question! Silly autos. They really screw things up. I'm not sure what would need to be swapped to make it work. I wonder if whole box from s2 would do it (also have one, with servo and shift kit) Otherwise if I was you i would just go full manual valve body and use whatever ecu.
  6. No uncut reo. Not sure if different or not At this stage the nistune is likely sold, but if not I'll be in touch.
  7. Sort of. One of the fitting is stripped. I wouldn't run the trans fluid through the rad anyway. You are best off with a decent trans cooler. The rad loop is more a warmer than a cooler anyway. Best setup is a huge trans cooler with a thermostat and fan. Even then depending on where you live most aussie places the thermostat isn't required. Steering wheel gone. Lots gone. Pretty much just engine stuff left. Well that's not true, still got headlights taillights grill etc. Pretty negotiable. Depending on if a previously interested guy actually buys stuff I will have whiteline rear sway bar, nistune with licence and cable, z32, id725 injectors, fuel pump and cradle and modified lid, r34 gtt brakes new rotors and pads, and subframe lock kit
  8. Can be checked with a multi meter and best to check on the ecu pin. Google what to expect when checking it. That's extremely bad economy so I wouldn't think just o2 could make it so bad. Have you checked the ignition timing? Would be good to see of the ecu has any fault codes, but that would assume you have wires it all up to the consult port or engine check light.
  9. What about o2 sensor? Is that new and all hooked up correctly?
  10. As for legalities, There is some crap about the shifter knob has to show the shift pattern I'm sure they could get you on of they wanted to.
  11. Haha. I meant spray heaps of fuel around into the engine. Depending how much cas spinning fun you have
  12. I would pull the fuel pump fuse when doing the above so as to not spray a crap load of fuel around.
  13. Unused (of course!) Genuine gasket. 75 posted within Australia. Cheers Ben
  14. Hi guys. Complete neo head, including modified vct pulley to allow dialing in the inlet cam. Has had vct port welded and coolant gallery welded a bit to allow proper seal when going onto an rb30 block. Including all fittings to run external vct feed. Can still be used on an rb25 ,just need to run the external oil feed. Can work out a deal if you need inlet manifold, cas etc. Also have 5000k old idler and tensioner bearing to sweeten the deal! Head in perfect condition. Located fairview park sa. 600 negotiable. Ben
  15. Power should be connected to a source only live with ignition.
  16. Sort of. Perhaps it's the vct on the neo that makes up for the loss on the rb26. Vct wins. Neo has vct. Neo wins!
  17. The type b on the neo engines Is good. Type b on rb26 not so good. 260 is the advertised duration. You can Google tomei cam cards and see the duratiom at 50 (around 222 from my crap memory)
  18. Ok. Some of the prices I listed are a bit off the mark, so hit me with a sensible offer for what you need. A lot already sold, will update what's left soon. Cheers
  19. What about type bs dialed for response? Or is it not possible at all?
  20. Those holes are for the high beam on series 2. Keep year in mind if yours is a series 2!
  21. Did you buy a stagea already?
  22. So I guess budget between say 3000 to 30000?
  23. Why would you bother cracking out the spanners to put a turbo that performs like that and is ready to grenade itself? It takes the same amount of time to put a decent turbo on.
