  1. Progress too slow...... Losing interest
  2. They mentioned genuine k's twice so that's good. ........ Seriously, there needs to be comprehensive service history to belive those k's and pay a premium for. I'm currently selling my car cos I'm over it. They aren't that fast or big. They cost heaps to insure. Theft magnet. No snow in adelaide so no need for awd. 12g gets you a really nice ss.
  3. An angle grinder does not care what car the springs are on.
  4. The vct is only on the inlet cam. The cas is run from the exhaust cam so no problems.
  5. Andra approval is one.
  6. If this guy has finished wrecking his I am wrecking an rs. I've got pretty much all parts. Edit. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it any more.
  7. I agree with the above post. Total wanker for speeding up. You saw his indicator otherwise you shouldn't be driving. I'm sure heaps of people with dash cams go out looking for trouble, your video proves it (in this case) Vans have a blind spot. Everyone knows that you sped up. You are a tool . Argue all you eat but it's clear as day. Just cos insurance settled doesn't mean shit. They make judgements on hoe much it costs to go to court vs just paying out for retarded shit like this. Surely just slowing down is heaps easier than going through all the shit of an insurance claim. Even if "not at fault" Tl; Dr Don't drive like a dick head. Imagine if someone did that to you.
  8. I hope it's not near the sump plug cos then...... wait. Nothing will happen.
  9. Did you look under that spot near the thing?
  10. So the ecu knows if it is tdc of the compression or exhaust stroke.
  11. Nah man. Just stirring. It's just funny that the thread is about prep required for 2630 build, and that block still isn't ready for a 26 head. So technically they could still put a 30 head on it and use it for a customers rb30 build. I don't think it would happen. They will just say they will fit the head and then tap for the tensioner if you ask them.
  12. We don't know where you dropped it!
  13. If I dropped a washer into the head, and couldn't find it I would tell myself off sternly, then carry on with life. The Washer Will Find A Safe Place to live in the sump, hiding in the corner away from the spinning bits. Then every oil change I would look through the oil with the excitement of a child at Christmas hoping to find the washer, but only to be disappointed time and time again. I am more worried about the swapped caps rather than the washer. Unless by cap you mean splash guard.
  14. Why were you swapping can caps around? They are specific to the one spot, as that's how they were machined. You can't just go swapping them around.
  15. Budget helps narrow down the search.
  16. Turbo timer. Might be built in to the alarm. Might be hidden. Have you completely destroyed all of the previous owners contact info? I would suggest he or she could provide an instant answer. I can guess all day.
  17. Funnily enough the engine pics you posted don't have anything prepared for a 26 head going into it. No new hole above water pump for tensioner and they haven't even removed the old tensioner stud. It could be still be used with an rb30 head. Maybe that's their plan! Unless you make enough noise someone else gets this engine......
  18. I'm in adelaide.
  19. The check valve is in the rubber hose that goes to the booster.
  20. Hypergear just put a different cooler on his gtr. Was cheap as and performed well. Contact him.
  21. Wah. Such car mods. Wow.
  22. Yep. Or the line going to it.
  23. Do you want the part number so you can pay nissan crazy ass prices or the actual part? I have the actual part.
