  1. If you can't just figure out how to pull the box out you shouldn't pull the box out.
  2. Was that for sale on here a month or so ago?
  3. I should have just said they won't fit and then bought them myself Give him another 18 hrs then they are mine?
  4. The vct oil supply supplies oil to the front cam bearing on non neo heads. So with no vct oil feed you have no oil to the front journal. That's bad. Deleting vct is bad as it loses response. People pay heaps to get vct onto RB26s. Deleting the oil feed is worse as it removes the oil feed to the front bearing. Why an rb20 cam? What happened there?
  5. What...... How can you be doing stuff like this and have no timimg gun? Who cares what timing we tell you to run, how will you run it?
  6. John knows his gays.
  7. By saying it has the vct mod do you mean it has an oil supply running to it or its just been welded?
  8. I can't count sometimes. I meant third pic!
  9. They will fit. I have an rs. Definitely eyelet. And spewing, I would have bought these. ... Consider me next in line.
  10. Jizz. That's obvious because he didn't specify due to embarrassment.
  11. Exactly. I should add reinforce the floor pan and inlet manifold, but I assume everyone knows that.
  12. Pete, torque rules. You don't have to get us to tell you that. Wait till your engine is built and report back. Sound is the least concern of decent power. Coming into boost quickly is either done by smaller turbos or larger displacement. Larger displacement is the winning answer. Fatter power band. Off boost a larger engine will always be nicer than a smaller engine. Seems like you are getting edgy!
  13. Diff ratio change wouldn't cut it. Making 1st extremely short will make it harder to get traction and then you have to change gears instantly. Fast and cheap depends how much you do yourself. Ignore the legal part and use nitrous. Way cheaper than a turbo or supercharger setup and instantaneous power.
  14. So its a fine balance, torque and sounding good?
  15. Yeah that's bad mmmkay. Look for pics of stick setups and do that. In the second pic is that short hose blocked it open? If open it would be causing the dud idle . If blocked it would be preventing crank case pressure escaping when on boost. Which will blow seals out and the dipstick. It should be plumbed back into the turbo intake as jiffo said. If it's open, put your thumb over it to block it and see if that helps the idle. That will stop it drawing In unmetered air. It's not hard to make these engines idle correctly.
  16. Ask the registration department. They have the final say. The engine number changes, and that number is associated with an older engine. How do you figure the emissions won't be changing? Just a guess?
  17. Not necessarily. The factory ecu can only use a narrow band. The nistune software can utilise extra inputs to log (through the laptop) Most wideband can simulate a narrow band output that the ecu uses, meaning that you can get rid of the stock sensor.
  18. ARB! don't make him angry.....
  19. I only saw it last week. I couldn't believe it. I already have a zeitronix zt2 data logger from way back. Still tempted to buy the one that I posted though!
  20. Some wiggling and levering will probably destroy it, so very another one incase
  21. Take water pump off and tap it out. Yep. It sucks for you! That includes removing timing belt. I don't think wiggling it will get it out but worth a shot, it Is just tapped in there.
  22. Anti roll bar. Also known as Sway bar
  23. http://www.wide-band.com/content/apsx-d1-wideband-controller-and-g1-led-afr-display-full-kit-red That's a bargain, and integrates to nistune. If I was in the market I would get it for sure.
