    Righto. You worry about weird things. I would be more worried about the ebay turbo breaking than the stud breaking.

    So its running too much boost. As per the million threads about cutting as you have described. Either the ecu is having a fit due to too much boost or the coil packs are shit. Or afm or fuel pump or cas or heaps of other things. So you replaced the turbo to try and fix it? That's a shame.. What ecu? That's likely the problem.

    Bleed it properly? Air is meant to come out. Keep doing it untill coolant comes out.

    Injectors out of a 25 De are identical to a 25 De. Use them.

    Have you considered what the extra lift will do to the engines midrange etc? It's not all about peak power. Sounds like your engine builder is special...

    True Just FYI, turbo models always use bigger injectors than non turbo.

    So for an inferior result it is a cheap way to achieve it? The turbo basically makes the power, why skimp on it? Just over 1000 for a hypergear or second hand garrett. I know what I would do.

    It would get the 5v from the ecu.

    I don't know the dude, just chatted at the track. He mentioned that they are ok when you find the good ones. Which I imagine us hard to do. I remember his turbo on the comp cover said "turbocharger" which I thought was funny. Maybe that's a clue to the good ones?

    At least you are approaching it with a good attitude! A guy in adelaide turbo'd and El falcon with an eBay spec turbo. Worked for him. Does that help? Unfortunately I don't think that you will find much info on them.

    Injectors are bigger. Therefore won't run. Anything bigger is too big.

    The trans will bolt up. To make it work electronically would be very difficult. The wiring is different between the two. So you would likely have to swap the loom , and trans controller (which might be in the ecu? Not sure, don't care!) All rb trans bolt on to any rb. Bolting on is the easy bit.

    I know that it's not hard. But changing out shit busted parts is never fun.

    Op, aren't you running a stock turbo? Just boost that till it pops to get an idea how fun it is changing a busted turbo before you experience it with an eBay turbo.
