  1. The stock vct gear is adjustable, but from the back. You have to take it off to adjust it. I made a thing so it can be adjusted from the front, then found out it had already been made by others years ago and isn't much use anyway.
  2. Nothing. Except for maybe it being in backwards. Either way you aren't going to be able to fox it from the outside. Face the facts and whip the box out.
  3. Ok. Put them in a box. Pull one out. Don't look at it. Throw the other one out. Use the one in your hand.
  4. Bleed clutch, then adjust clutch, then look at the gearbox.
  5. Back in the day a mate and I replaced a clutch in a Gemini, put it in backwards and it wouldn't disengage. (We were 16 at the time) It can happen!
  6. Into the back of the plug. Or if your keen into the ecu plug.
  7. Yes there are direct fit alloy radiators.
  8. 4 inch isn't a volume. It's a diameter. The silencing ability is determined by the mufflers, not just the pipe size. I've heard some loud 3 inch exhausts, doesn't mean they all are.
  9. I reread your first post and your onto another engine. Did you sort out why it died?
  10. So long as you like it. I wouldn't touch it. Is that your stock manifold? What's going on with cylinders 4,5 and 6? Did the engine die?
  11. "Tuning" an engine using fuel pressure is so ghetto.
  12. Forwards to back doesn't matter much. What about distance from the engine?
  13. You can't hear an internal wastegate. So the noise you are hearing needs to be explained. Look at your gauge. Is it in psi? Also, why did you buy it if it doesn't feel right?
  14. Wouldn't use that manifold if you paid me. It is not worth your trouble. It will crack as per all cheap stainless manifolds eventually.
  15. Based on the above quotes I am confused? What vct feed in the block? The 30 block doesn't have a vct feed. For reference for others, the 30 gasket is correct for the 2530 setup. The 25 won't seal by much around the coolant gallery around the front. It is only a few mm.
  16. Did you weld the vct gallery or plug it? What gasket did you use? 30 or 25?
  17. You definitely still need to use the dowels. The clearance on the hole in the head to the studs is heaps compared to the dowels USE THE DOWELS!
  18. Heaps of people. Have you seen the crazy shit some people do on here?
  19. Or just order the rear section and get a custom front section. That way you can have those fancy expensive tips on show.
  20. Why not get something made locally? Then you know it fits.
  21. As said there is no problem on a properly setup system. If your tuner has already had issues with one they setup then I wouldn't let them set yours up. Unless they simply had issues tuning someone else's dud setup.
  22. Or you could pressure test to find a leak.
  23. There's only so many simple questions I can answer a day and I've got my limit! Someone else will I'm sure.
  24. I wouldn't use that turbo if I was paid to. Read the rb25 dyno results thread in the forced induction section. Look hard at hypergear Bolt on options. They are what you want.
