  1. Probably cos your throttle is getting stuck.
  2. It's obvious you are new. You could highmount any turbo so maybe you should be more specific as to how much power you are chasing and why you actually want a highmount. You can fit some big (400rwkw) turbos onto stock manifold.
  3. Pretty much anything that clamps on will fit. Best bet get out of the house and go to a roof rack shop. You will have racks in minutes.
  4. I bounce back easily.
  5. This one. Just go to a shop and buy one. They aren't hard to get. Unless you aren't in aren't rush.
  6. Refer Kinkstaah s post a few up
  7. Time to cut this thread short.
  8. Pretty sure Kinkstaah would disagree with that. Return flow cooler and stock manifold isn't exactly cop magnet material.
  9. Also called a steering wheel puller. Google that.
  10. Those that complain about the smell I would be very interested to see what afr's you are running.
  11. Not much louder on a turbo car.
  12. Thanks for your well thought out and formatted reply. A piece of information I would like to know is if race car drivers left foot brake on the road. You are simply assuming they do. Anyway do what you want. That's the beauty of being in a car. No one can actually force you to do anything, brake woth your hands for all I care. Mick Doohan does. Oh wait, that's on a motorbike on a racetrack. I suck all Internet arguments so humbly bow out to your superieror skills. Ps. I really like the assumptions you make about me.
  13. That's such an open ended question. Seriously depends on fuel and turbo to name a few. Have you looked at the rb30 dyno results thread? It's all there. As are the cam specs on the net for you to find. Hint, Tomei have a chart of factory nissan cams available easily.
  14. So when an emergency stop occurs in a manual your brain now has to make a choice, push brake with left or right foot rather than just push brake woth the foot you always use. See my concern? I certainly understand , but each to his own. Just remember driving on the street is substantially different to a race or rally so can't be compared in my eyes.
  15. Is it even your water pump gasket leaking? That's the least likely scenario. It is probably the pump. You should replace it anyway considering what they cost. Replace timing belt, tensioner and idler pulleys and cam and crank seals while you are at it.
  16. Undo bolt a bit. Screw puller into the threaded holes in the pulley. M6 threads Pull it off with the puller. Are you trying to do it without a puller? Why are you stuck?
  17. I'd be interested to see how you actually drive a manual.
  18. Too much boost. Boost spike causing the "boost cut" to occur. Drop boost or gain setting and report back. Or you have a boost leak. Or a combo of both.
  19. As GTSBoy explained the pressure is matched, same ratio. My explanation sucked, but a fuel reg on a Skyline is not rising rate. It just matches the pressure. A rising rate reg increases the pressure at a higher rate to the boost applied, eg 10 psi boost will give 20 psi more fuel pressure.
  20. The rate is the ratio.
  21. Also whiter bulbs aren't necessarily going to make it easier for your eyes to actually see what's on the road, even if they are brighter. As the light spectrum moves whiter it gets toward blue and your eyeball can't pick up blue as easily. Science.
  22. It's substantially easier to just put a new halogen bulb in.
  23. That's definitely taking it easy with those 60 foot times. When will a full noise pass occur?
  24. That's right. They kind of had a use when ecu's couldn't be tuned. Now they have no real use. Get correct size injectors and tune away.
