  1. Timing being set correctly is the first step to getting anything right.
  2. And if your manifold is a pro boost one it looks more likely to have boost spikinh control issues due to the wastegate location. I'm certain it's the poxy gate.
  3. Just had a look at pro boost. I would be getting g a decent gate on there asap. That pro boost one doesn't inspire much confidence.
  4. Is that an eBay stainless manifold? Maybe it's a poor design.
  5. Blackkers, be honest, what did you do to get the work for free
  6. Is there a draw back to arp studs? How much do standard bolts cost?
  7. Based on using the neo actuator I would say it is stepped.
  8. 2 tunes isn't required. The throttle determines the power and consumption. One tune tuned well and sensible use of throttle.
  9. FATZ has a thread in the group buys section. 3000 bucks. I agree with what you are saying re the price. The tricky part, if you can call it that, is the oil feed to the actuator, which is run into the back of the camshaft by replacing the half moon in the head. Pretty easy to machine something up to do it, but having a camshaft with a hole down the length of it is also required, along with a little bit of plumbing.
  10. Well to move them it's easy. Pull apart the loom and then shorten or extend the wires to where you want them. Preferably on the inlet side so it's cooler If it was me i would just make a couple of simple brackets for where they are and call it a day.
  11. Really? It's seriously not worth your trouble. Especially as you don't know how to do it anyway.
  12. I reckon you would see similar gains with an amount of e85 I the tank. Just enough to lean off mixtures nicely. Maybe 5 bucks of e85 would do it. How's that compare to the ozygen?
  13. Ok. Based on that in depth explanation your diagnosis shall follow. It is your fuel pump. Money back guarantee.
  14. You really shouldn't bother with that turbo and just get something more suitable to use. No matter what housing you choose it won't make it a good turbo for an rb25.
  15. Wow! Crazy it could rev that high due to the leak. Glad it's sorted. Was it a map based ecu?
  16. Hmm. Now not including v band or gaskets. 100 bucks
  17. That's not a Skyline then.
  18. Well the fuel mixes pretty quick if you let the car idle. The pump just returns it to the tank and stirs it up so I don't really buy that explanation. Obvious that I'm a skeptic! Post all runs for comparison. Forget this average business.
  19. What he said. The 044 was designed before e85.
  20. Yep. As could the other 2 suggestions.
  21. So. Check the throttle. As has been mentioned 5 times now.
  22. Ok. Here's another question for you. Why was it run 3 compared to run 13? 2 he so many runs in between?
  23. I agree it's very unlikely to be head gasket leaking oil from that side. Fingers crossed.
