  1. The O2 sensor should only be fine tuning the mixtures. It should be tuned woth it off to give the correct mixture, then turned on and checked after the tune is complete. It should barely make a difference on a properly tuned car whether off or on, especially immediately after being tuned. Again, refer to your tuner. Ask him. He tuned it. We are guessing. It should be running 14.7 at cruise (pretty much) with or without the sensor. Which it doesn't seem to be due to your consumption.
  2. Wow . What are the chances of that. "Another" guy who wants to pull out direct injectors for some reason.... Very strange...
  3. Still looking. .. Missed a bargain on Gumtree. Spewing.
  4. What line? Is this an na thing?
  5. That's a bad idea. Could hydraulic lock the engine if too much gets in. The normal thing to do would be to blow or suck the coolant and other random chunks of shit out before removing the plugs. And what coolant line are you even talking about?
  6. Yeah just lift up the seat No. Search Google man. Heaps of info out there for ya
  7. Based on that i recomend Before you do anything else on the car get some advice
  8. No way of identification of pump by sounds alone
  9. That's good news. Shit tune confirmed ...... flame suit on. Unless it's the mysterious gates timing belt ignition scatter issue.
  10. Well there you go..... An overfill will cause oil to spew into the catch can. Hope that's the case.
  11. Is it an auto correct typo? Precision?
  12. If I had an engine that filled the catch can I wouldn't bother with any tests. I would start planning a build or engine swap straight away.
  13. Huh? He asked if you drained oil before adding oil. That's a fair question seeing as in the past people have overfilled engines by many litres due to their lack of mechanical ability. So to be clear. Where is the oil on the dipstick?
  14. Apparently the tuner is an absolute guru so no one is questioning the tune. Just putting heaps of time into other areas.
  15. Well seeing as the car is yours now, I strongly reccomend getting on a dyno and checking out how it runs. Power , air fuel ratio , timing etc The last thing you want is to kill an engine due to an unknown tune. Which I'm going to say is very likely in this case.
  16. He's pretty much an expert. Seen alot of gay things in his time. His search history will confirm
  17. All of this diagnostics is so pointless untill you check for boost leaks. Once they are ruled out then the only explanation for the shit running and economy (if it continues to be that way) is a poor tune.
  18. Forward facing plenum and stock rubber intake to turbo is a fail. I suspect there are more gumby mods than eats the eye.
  19. The best bet would be to use a head with vct. Then running out of puff doesn't matter so much as the curve will be heaps fatter, which would be best in a 4 wd.
  20. All I searched was AFM 2004 Stagea VQ35DE
  21. From Google. http://kcm-service.sakura.ne.jp/parts_store/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=153&cartype=15&fig=165
  22. That would be hollow?
  23. Inb4 bee-r is shit and sell it.
