  1. Get under . Not that we can tell where exactly you put the stands.
  2. Pull out front shaft. Done.
  3. I sent message and no reply. Why u no reply. Why u no pics? Why
  4. It can't be nice on the bearings, but the damage is likely already done. Especially as the engine obviously was running to break the pump! I don't think it will be catastrophic to do the comp test. It's alot of work removing and refitting the engine without a freshen up. I understand you only want to do do the minimum, and hopefully you can, it's just that a comp test won't tell you if the engine engine is smoky. How about you do something real crazy and replace the pump with the engine still In the car. My theory is (it is early and I'm tired) you should be able to by just splitting the sump off and dropping the sump down a touch. Leaving everything else still connected. Sounds mental now that I wrote it , but I would still look into it.
  5. Read the rb25 dyno results thread and the unopened 300rwkw club thread in the forced induction forum and decide your plan. I would suggest an unopened neo will definitely do. While running the neo, read and learn as much as possible and start planning a build. There's a strong chance you won't need to do it for years. Don't rush it. There's no hurry. And last bit of advice which I'm sure you will ignore, buy a house. Car later. You will be way better off in the future. Watch your mates waste money. I wish I bought a house sooner. Hood luck with it all!
  6. Ok. Seems you have made your mind up regarding the engine swap! The neo engine has amongst other things a better head with solid lifters. It is the better base to start with. A 400 a week car budget is pretty big!
  7. It's a full manual valve body scotty son no tcu. . Soft shifts are bad. ...
  8. This isn't hard and has been done a zillion times. Disco has a thread recently about putting a 3076 on stock manifold. Heaps of gates off housings around. Buy turbo. Buy 20 mm spacer. Bolt together. Buy 90 degree silicon joiner or alternatively weld elbow onto turbo outlet Buy decent injectors and z32. Boost off into the sunset.
  9. Engine swap is the easy part. It's all the other hassles
  10. Buy a turbo car when off p's. Way cheaper and more sensible. Don't believe me? I don't care In the meantime research how much hassle the conversion is and stuff you have to change. Better yet, ask guys who have been silly enough to do it is what they think. Kinkstaah springs to mind PM him
  11. This thread is getting good. Yes I agree it's getting good. That's right other guy. Real good. More legit by the second. Whoops forgot to log on with different username.
  12. Your asking alot from it. Not many around putting that much through upgraded stock boxes.
  13. Not to kill your enthusiasm but 20 is a bit of an ask. Also Teds had them for 450 last year when I bought mine. Keep an eye on their site.
  14. Exactly. As this forum is typically aussies we don't know shit about what cars are worth in Canada. If it was in Australia for that price I would buy 2.
  15. Your trans is an re4r01b Mv automatics in adelaide is the guy for shift kits.
  16. Good luck with it. Hopeful you are able to track down the guy.
  17. Link is wrong. Now u understand the problem. Easy fix though.
  18. If you can't search for the parts you need can you actually do the rebuild?
  19. 2 minutes is still more work Unless you already have the filter why bother?
  20. What's the point of the 6 inch bit? Just Wank factor? Looks like more work for no actual gain.
  21. You know you want to. Reach around while welding on the t3 flange !
