  1. It's only a tiny bolt!
  2. The nlose is the starter motor. It's not engaging correctly onto the ring gear on the flywheel. Sometimes cleaning up the solenoid and throw out mechanism helps.
  3. You must have some idea. It's either due to your crazy overfill. Or engine has busted some ring lands Or turbo seals have gone. As discussed in this thread.
  4. Mine looks pretty much the same.
  5. How did you bust it? Is your torque wrench out of calibration? They are done up to a pretty low setting (can't remember) perhaps you went too tight. First I've heard of one busting.
  6. I do t have a pic will see of I get time to take one. I pressure tested to 30 and it didn't leak.
  7. Would have to bend over as it is on the floor currently.
  8. This is now officially the Tt350gt / real NISMO1 build thread. Hopefully a mod can change the thread title Can't wait to see the results. Should be fun! Be nice to be able to get what you want.
  9. Sometimes I seriously wonder why I bother trying to help.
  10. Have you looked at the stock bov? You can't replace the spring. The hole I'm talking about is on the side that bolts onto the crossover pipe. It does not help keep the valve shut and it's very common to block it. It is there to smoothen the transition onto boost. And one more time. I did it. It fixed my bov. It doesn't leak. I run 20 psi. Anyway. I'll stop being a wet blanket and trying to help you.
  11. That's heaps overfilled. It could be the cause. Check the turbos inlet for oil.
  12. Ok don't smash it. Caress it with a hammer. Like I said to increase the spring preload. It fixed my bov leaking which is your current Issue Also block up the little hole with a m5 grub screw. or think about it for weeks and do nothing. Doesn't bother me.
  13. Yep. It's all there a few pages back. Not welding it back up would be special!
  14. Nice work!
  15. Go to town on the head. Add hks vcam. That will definitely get you some response.
  16. Have you looked at the oil control thread yet? Just the last 5 pages should do it.
  17. I dented the top of my stock bov in to increase spring pressure. Ghetto mods. Doesn't leak when pressure testing to 30 psi. Smash your bov in like me.
  18. Busted ring lands happens very quickly. I doubt your engine just wore out. If comp test all good then it's likely turbos.
  19. I don't know what you mean If oil is coming out of the turbos it will go into the intercooler pipework then into the engine and get burnt and make blue smoke. If there's tonnes of blowby all of a sudden a catch can might do something, but doesn't fix the cause of the issue.
  20. Don't know what to expect. But what is important is that all cylinders are pretty much the same. It's extremely unlikely that all pistons would die at the same time. So the actual pressure result doesn't mean much, but the difference between cylinders is crucial. Oil going into to the turbo inlet is from blowby. Oil coming out of the turbo unto the intercooler pipes (with none in inlet) means it's the turbo leaking oil
  21. I would go at least 9:1
  22. Yep compression test. Before that pull the intercooler pipe off the turbo and look for oil. Hopefully you will see some.
  23. Ok. It's not a drain though! Like I said, read the oil control thread.
