  1. Something wrong with your auto. That's all I know I would check and clean plugs and hope that fixes it.
  2. Well I seriously hope your ecu is tuned for those injectors. ....
  3. As this is really a conversion it doesn't have much to do with the fact is an rb2530. . Wiring can be a nightmare. And extremely hard to find a mistake online. What ecu and injectors?
  4. That's not a very technical solution... I would actually clean the battery terminals and earth points points rather than hope for the best.
  5. Illegal. Not aloud to vent anything to atmosphere. You are venting air and the blowby. . Yes it is him
  6. Lol. Was that at the traffic lights and had kids in the back? There's some pretty quick v8s that i would happily own.
  7. The stud is just hand tight in the block. It shouldn't be done up at all all as bottoming it out induces stress into the block. Doesn't need lube but will help it to not rust. The lube is to ensure the correct tension is applied to the head. head If the nut wasn't lubed a lot of of your torque is wasted by friction, so not being used for clamping. Use arp torque settings. They make make the studs and the different pitch thread thread and material need a different torque to stock.
  8. Typically it's pretty easy to pull out a seal, whether with a hook type puller or carefully screwing in some screws to the body of the seal it will jack it out. It's a shame that on a rebuilt engine something went wrong to cause a leak.
  9. How about ls coils. 280 for 8 brand new on ebay. Just need some slight wiring work and a bracket and increase dwell to 5 ms.
  10. That sucks man. I assume it would have bent some valves. .. Could it have been something silly like the bolt bottomed out in the crank?
  11. Welcome. Are you sure the car was a turbo? How many studs are the wheels? Sounds like a stock turbo setup would be what you after. Especially seeing as you haven't specified a budget....
  12. Definitely running vct. You would be mental to not! Tapping is basically the same as a non neo, like shown in the guide. I got it welded a bit before drilling so there was more meat for the thread. I put it in the same place as non neo, and used a 90 degree fitting. Space is tight but I think now that I could have put it in a better spot to not need the 90 degree fitting. When you look at the head it's pretty obvious where the gallery is. Remember it looks like there's lots of space untill you put the cam gear backing plate back on....
  13. What are you trying to do? Getting stuck at this stage is concerning.....
  14. Maybe he doesn't have the Internet?
  15. No. Look at how it's bolted on
  16. Undo the bolt that it pivots on also.
  17. Neo doesn't use the spline and half moon system but can still only go on one way. Whether you have marked it or not, you still have to set timing with a light. The marks are never going to be good enough.
  18. With neo head no restrictor for vct is required.
  19. He is using a NEO head. Just bolt together. You get the comp the engine decides! (Which will be what you want)
  20. I used a stagea brackets from a wrecker, 10 bucks, but they are the same for heaps of cars. No drilling required, the nuts are there to bolt into. Like I said you will have to slot the holes on the brackets though due to the rs rear end being wider.
  21. Ok. In that case alarm? Fuses?
  22. Was worth the trouble checking the plugs hey? Glad it's sorted.
  23. So it doesn't even crank over?
