    Fair enough, nistune is always having new features added, so possibly wasn't available when yours was tuned. Either way whatever he did worked!

    Nistune allows you to recalibrate the table to suit what ever sensor being used. So he didn't tune around it, he set the temp table up to suit.

    With the calipers measure the cam lobe to the base circle. Subtract the base circle diameter to give you the lift. I have gone dumb and can't remember base circle at the moment.

    You are in for a steep learning curve with this one.

    No one uses strengthened ring and or pinion gears. Nissan did a nice thing for us with the diffs. Why are yours shot? Lack of oil and general abuse will also destroy better gears.

    You were already told a couple of times in this thread that you had no oil in your gearbox. I can't believe you didn't put oil in straight away!

    DONT DELETE VCT. Especially just to run 26 covers. That's plain stupid. People with rb26engines would kill for vct.

    Someone needs to do the unmentionable and put a neo head on an rb26. Higher comp and vct with e85 would be awesome. There had been mention the neo head can suffer shim spitting at high revs but that can be sorted cheaper than fitting vct to a 26 head surely?

    Looks like an eBay stainless one. I personally wouldn't use it. Stock is fine and won't crack.

    Get an alarm. Think of a better stash spot, or carry the tablets on you. You can't stop someone smashing a window, people will always be able to break into your car. There are heaps of options to do it.

    I hope you don't want to put in cams just so you can have am adjustable intake gear..... That would be an ultimate fail, as vct is way too good to lose, and the stock gear is adjustable anyway (on a neo that is, not sure on pre neo, adjustable from the back but easily modded to be adjustable from the front.) Why do you want cams? What do you use the car for?

    That's a reasonably high duration, meaning you will be revving it. In which case you will probably want better springs.

    Stock is fine. Look through dyno results thread and see for yourself.

    Hating the look of the plenum isn't enough of a reason to change it and lose torque.....
