  1. What's the fascination with 6 gears? Spend money on the car making it fast. Not having an extra gear.
  2. Yep. That's right. At stock pressure both would flow 1000. And obviously they are fine with ethanol. It really seems like bullshit to me.
  3. That came out shit (on mu phone) Look at the left column for pressure and the bright column for flow. 5 bar is pretty much 58psi. 3 bar is 43.5 which is the standard when specifying flow.

  5. They seem like the same injector to me. Just with higher pressure
  6. There's also guys that sell the ealbro pumps and list the highest flow number (lowest pressure) to make them seem better.
  7. The injectors I have seen that care 1150cc are at 5bar pressure. Ask them at what pressure they flow the claimed amount? If you look at the id1000 injectors for example, they flow pretty much bang on 1150 at 5 bar.
  8. So to clarify you have 1000cc inhectors
  9. They flow that at 4 bar.
  10. If you are running drugs across the border and the cops shoot out your tires you keep on driving. That's a pretty big advantage if you ask me.
  11. What ecu? Definitely check the cams if you have doubts.
  12. No worries man. Get in touch with a custom cam place and discuss your goals, they will be able to help you out.
  13. I really struggle with that logic. If it idles shit of course it will be a pig down low . That's why it idles bad. That has to be the silliest reason to get cams. If all you want is a wanky idle do it with tuning. Run it lean.
  14. A 26 cam wouldn't work on the inlet side due to the vet meaning the first cam bearing is different. Not sure on exhaust side.
  15. What sort of cam are you looking for? Surely you don't want huge duration and lose vct? I would have thought the type b tomei cams are sweet for most people.
  16. Oh . I will try again. The boost controller pulses the solenoid to control how much air is being bled off. Not only would that slightly wear out the solenoid as it is being used it is pretty noisy. So as to not wear the solenoid or make annoying noises ebc's will only start to pulse the solenoid when it sees 0 vacuum. Therefore if it plumbed up to never read vacuum the solenoid will be pulsing all the time, wearing it out and annoying you with the noise.
  17. Yes it is important to read vacuum. The boost controller doesn't start pulsing the solenoid until it sees 0 vacuum. Otherwise it would be pulsing the solenoid all of the time and wear it out.
  18. So don't randomly mess with it. Either spend ages reading and learning, or take it somewhere and get them to see what's going on. For the time being busy yourself by doing a pressure test to see how many boost leaks you have. Search how to do it.
  19. And all seeming fine doesn't make sense when in the same sentence you mention bulk unburnt fuel. That's a sign something is wrong.
  20. What ecu? why are you just messing with the fuel pressure randomly? You can't drown injectors, you can flood the 3ngine and or foul plugs. In summary your problems are you are doing random things with no clue and that will never work out well for you.
  21. That's true, but it is not about power so much as response.
  22. Why actually remove it though? The effort for gain seems not worthwhile.
  23. They would be welded in so no they won't spin. How the hell would they build the car in the first place if you can't get a spanner onto a nut or bolt to hold it while doing up a bolt or nut?
