  1. Where are you pulling 15% as a rule from?
  2. He is planning on using everything, including the head, from the neo.And will r34 pistons actually not fit with a non neo head? I know the comp will raise a fair bit, but they would still fit right?
  3. I agree its the different profile cams in the neo that would likely equal more flow.
  4. Doesn't start. How about some more info? Or should we guess wildly? In which case I guess you just installed an imobilizer but forgot. Edit. I replied to your initially blank post with only a YouTube video . If fuel pump isn't turning on check power to pump then check pump fuel into correct fuel line.
  5. Because of nut f**ker..... Yes, sounds like it's time to cracking some nuts.
  6. Unless you actually do want to f**k it up. They aren't called nut f**kers for nothing!
  7. Adjustable spanner is a fail. It looks barely rounded. Good ring spanner and tap with hammer. Or apply some heat to help out and teach buy who is the boss
  8. I would slap mate and then use a syringe (big one) to sick reservoir dry. Seeing as you didn't start it it wouldn't have gone far, but to be sure I would disconnect lines off the rack and pour fluid into reservoir flushing the lines. Then I would slap mate again
  9. Ok. As per any mod it comes down to personal situation and preference. Just to clarify it is the duration that shifts the power band. The extra lift increases flow all over. I was saying you were guessing at the 50kw loss at 4000rpm. I wasn't arguing the potential of a loss somewhere. I also changed turbo, and put on water injection, at the same time as the cams so can't make a direct comparison on the loss, but for reference from an older thread
  10. Nope. It goes to the speedo direct then to the ecu. Certainly odd that it's the opposite of the rpm signal.
  11. Yes I do ALL of the work on my car . Amongst other things I wired up the ls coils, put the rb30 bottom end in, do all tuning and recently put some type b cams in. Not that that is particularly relevant. You are guessing as to how much the power band will shift. Typically better cams will have more lift which will create more flow all over and therfore increase power in all parts of the Rev range, making the shift to the right not as bad as you would imagine. Have you put in cams? Not that I care.
  12. Settle down Bro! Are you having a bad day? I guess I didn't guess that by your post. Going on to the dyno to check it would be an option,, as would using an automotive multimeter with tacho function to compare stock gauge (you could buy a multimeter instead of paying for the dyno hire) But that's not really the issue. The fact that it changed by only changing ecu implies to me that there might be a problem.
  13. Now you're talking!
  14. Oh. It's spelt pretty wrong so I thought it was a piss take.....
  15. But will the mighty God let just anybody join him?
  16. Out of curiosity what else needs to be done to get it complete? People tend to sell projects when they hit the too hard barrier.
  17. I did help. ? Don't confuse the neo conversion with the ffp conversion. Search what cable people use with a ffp. Or better yet ditch the ffp and run the stock one. Then cable issues sorted.
  18. Nothing to do with dynos currently being discussed....
  19. Ok. Forgot this is on an r33, which nistune don't directly support. What does the power fc do about knock? Flash a light? Seeing as you mentioned it, rather than leave it simply implying there are other issues would you care to explain the other nistune shortcomings? No vct switching when used on a 33 , again not actually using the correct ecu on the car and easily worked around. Anyway, I want skid vids.
  20. Something is wrong.
  21. Middle of nowhere doesn't have a servo anyway.
