  1. I would if I could but I can't...
  2. Lol. How does the fact it's a neo matter? It's the different plenum that has caused your cable issue. Not the neo. I concur this has nothing to do with neo conversion and everything to do with forward facing plenum conversion. All the best figuring out your terribly difficult and confusing issue.
  3. I will never believe that tuning an ecu has changed how many revs per hundred your car does.
  4. That makes even more sense.
  5. Nistune still has the exact same knock strategy as the stock ecu. Not sure where you got your info from, you don't lose knock prevention with Nistune. Taking the turbo heat shield off will cook wiring.
  6. You already had a perfectly good ecu. It's a shame you didn't just sort out exhaust then get someone else to tune the Nistune.
  7. Do neo head onto stock r33 bottom end with thicker gasket. Higher comp and e85 equal winning.
  8. That's a shame that your Nistune wasn't tuned correctly. Don't blame the ecu. It would have to be the easiest ecu to get cold start and idling nice with.
  9. That makes no sense. Diff ratio is the same. Revs the same.
  10. You can't establish anything from that test, as it lost vct. And you are guessing wildly. There are results of cams picking up power everywhere, for example Matt from Nistune's r34.
  11. What about a photo of beakers? That should be way more than enough.
  12. Ignition issues (code 21) can also be caused by a dodgy coil loom or plugs . I would be looking into that. And don't go to Nissan again.
  13. You still have your nistuned ecu right? Put it back in and see what happens.
  14. Yes it would. Air gets measured by the afms, so the ecu injects the right amount of fuel, but if the air doesn't make it into the engine because of a boost leak, the engine gets too much fuel and runs rich.
  15. Wow. This is a popular forum, and I can't believe I didn't check again! Can we go for Ben C34 Thanks!
  16. Lowering? Or do you plan on doing jumps?
  17. I'm another one all for neo head onto stock rb30 bottom End but that's not in the rules! Isn't the obvious choice a neo head onto pre neo rb25 bottom end? Plenty more comp instantly, no need for machining anything. Just a different plug on vct and swap cas wires and boost away. So anyone with a nice running 25 non neo, whack a neo head on, run e85 and report back with tales of winning.
  18. No. You won't necessarily get a noise with a leak.
  19. Have you thought about me while buying lube and condoms lately?
  20. No worries. Ditch the forward facing plenum. Dual stage boost controller? Not needed. There are tons of good ecus yo cheese from. It's "what would you change?" Not "what would use change?" Welcome. And on me last thing, did you really search?
  21. For sa rego it will need an id check at regency. They will spot any problem and can issue a defect and won't let you through until it is fixed.
  22. What the hell is going on with that ruler?
