    Pretty hot for a bath, but not an engine. It's too cold. Neos run at 82. I think pre neo is a touch cooler but not that much. I recall my vl turbo running at 82

    Fair enough. Until you actually see that you have no spark you are still kind of guessing. That's what I would do as step one.

    I am curious how you checked all the sensors? How do you know the afm and cas work for example? You have made no mention of injectors clicking. Do you know if they are?

    Take off a coil, put a spark plug on it earthed to the engine, crank and check for spark at the plug.

    He means running a certain boost level doesn't mean a motor will be safe or explode.

    Seeing as an internal gate can control the boost no worries with that turbo, I don't think you could get an external gate small enough to not work.
