  1. No. You have to chop off the awd bit on the side. I'm sure I've read heaps of info on it that I found by searching.... I was looking at doing the same thing.
  2. Fuel p up only primes for a few seconds when you turn key on. Have you never noticed that in all efi cars ever?
  3. Another option would be a custom made angle spacer, between turbo and manifold.Which would be weird! I can help out there if needed.
  4. Has the manifold to head face been milled? A slight error with the angle could throw it out like that.
  5. Pressure test. Only way to be sure of leaks
  6. Most would be happy to tune haltech,
  7. Sorry , that's not with. 6 housing.
  8. 314awkw. I'm sure I have read that a million times!
  9. Your best bet, if you are happy with your tuner, is to ask what they recommend and get it from them. That way you know they are happy and comfortable tuning it.
  10. Until they pop the bonnet to cut siren wiring and notice it. I certainly wouldn't rely on that.
  11. Wrecker. It's that easy. I think I paid 5 bucks.
  12. Have you checked for boost leaks/popped cooler hoses? You really should... And I am 10000000percent sure you don't need a motec! There are plenty of ecu options. Look for one that is plug, eg link or vipec yo name a couple,
  13. Well you would be totally nuts to risk your engine by not replacing your old pump
  14. Oh cheers for that. Should be run away!
  15. Sorry for dodgy quoting, phone sucks a bit... "Another forum suggestion was to check that the TPS was set to 4.5V on closed loop mode" That doesn't make sense. "I have borrowed a set of 5 coils" 6? "AFM has been off and it looks very clean, but I havent checked voltage through it (suggestion through skylineowners forum)" What voltage do you expect to see and when? I don't believe a meter will tell you anything useful about your afm. Even if the afm looks "very clean" what's the harm in cleaning it to be sure?
  16. Can always take cheap/stuck at home option and cut allen key and insert into socket.
  17. Fuel will definitely still come out with the vac lone removed from reg. Perhaps that could solve the problems, spray car with fuel, light, turn 360 and walk away...
  18. Runs bad on lpg and petrol though....
  19. Something else I just considered, perhaps the bracket that the cas bolts to is on the piss. If there was a chunk of stuff under it when it was bolted on it would hold the case at an incorrect angle/position, something else to double check.
  20. I certainly wouldn't assume it. You really should have marked one before taking them off. Trust me, the first time you don't look the hoses swap sides just to screw you over! If mounted correctly you should be able to run the tank virtually dry with the new pump.
  21. How low did you mount it? A pressure gauge would be best. But ghetto option would be to pull fuel line off and spray fuel everywhere , or not. Did you get feed and return correct on the lid?
  22. No ecu will self calibrate to injector size change.
  23. http://www.paulr33.com/powerfc-faq/powerfc-faq.htm#56
  24. Isn't there something somewhere about power fcs having an issue with losing tunes due to wiring/missing relay?
