Well it's a fairly uncommon plan then isn't it?
But having said that you would have both cars in front of you to figure it out,so I say go for it,figure it out.
It won't over fuel, why would it? If anything it would under fuel as you go to bigger injectors typically.
And timing is pretty much not changed in the low rpm and idle when tuned.
I suppose it's good to have som e of this stuff, but some are just useless. (Like the last 4 or so posts)
I mean seriously, explaining where the headlight or fuel level gauge is and what it means is not actually helpful.
Can you cable tie the plug to hold it in?
To check it is working connect a bike pump to the gauge pressure line for the controller and with ignition on pump some pressure into it .
You should hear the solenoid pulsing quickly.
What the.....
How did the timing help with oil pressure?
As for the timing you either have it set to 15 at idle or not .
You sound like you might be be in over your head here.
Dots it actually need a rebuild?
I would just start a rebuild on another engine and thrash yours.
You don't need a kit, there's not that much you need to buy.
You must have a vacuum leak and a big one for it to rev that high..
You mentioned you were going to pressure test, did you?
You should now.
Did you set the timing correctly? Not that it would fix your high idle issue. But it would nice for the people that have helped you to know if it worked or not.
I assume the bov line is for the gauge pressure.
Op, do yourself an even bigger favour and just sell it.
Put money towards better more worthwhile mods.
I use chemtec ct18.
That stuff is awesome and not harsh.
I gently spray with a hose to rinse off.
The engine bay is not full of sensitive electronic components!
Don't spray heaps of water on the afm or cas or coil pack area.
