You need to put a plug lead on to number one coil connect it to the plug and connect pickup to that. . Disconnecting the tps should lock the timing the ecu is putting out to 15. It does vary to maintain idle, it varies a lot if the idle is high or unstable. Do you have nistune or consult to view what timing the ecu is putting out?

Are you using the loop? What is your idle at?

It's a new car. It's not an issue to fix yourself. It's for a dealer. You are doing the right thing by going to a different dealer for second opinion.

It's certainly not a bad turbo, but if it was me doing your build, I would be looking at Forced Performance or Borg Warner turbos.

You are wrong. There is no gasket in a turbo sealing the water. It runs through the casting. Your Head gasket is the most likely cause.

Oh . I will stop guessing what your issues are. If you want to give us half a chance at helping you post some pics of engine bay. Why would a custom pod mean you don't have a heat shield on your turbo or manifold? Yes, ffs, fit the stock bov. It will mean it won't make annoying hectic noises, or make your car idle like shit, or spray oil all over engine bay due to massive blowby issues you seem to have, and you won't get a defect. I haven't suggested it to you numerous times because it is pointless and won't help.

Not surprising it idles better without the atmo bov. Best option is to get a stock bov and use that,isn't that obvious? Did you do the comp test? Rattle near turbo could be loose heat shield.

If you haven't pressure tested it you haven't check for leaks. Do it. It's easy. It will show you some leaks you didn't know you had.
