  1. As mentioned before neo has a dampner along with the regulator. The car wouldn't run if the fuel wasn't returning to tank. The pressure would be sky high. Fuel needs to go into the rail then to the regulater then back to the tank, which you can't tell from the photos. The dampers aren't required. Did this car ever run right? When did the problem start?
  2. How could adjusting suspension have anything to do with it? Do you think you can undo 4 bolts and unclipped the wiring going to the buckle? If you can, pull it out and sort it out. I assume you can't though and that's why you made this thread
  3. That's a well written post but seriously needed another tldr at the end of it!
  4. Wow. That looks like the bolt has pulled through the mount. If that is the case I would be putting a decent washer and or reinforcing plate under the bolt, but that shouldn't have been able to happen in the first place. I wonder if they were installed wrong?
  5. ^^that's exactly what I thought....
  6. That's assuming it is just a simple fix.
  7. That shows the car has a different fpr so don't expect it to look like stock setup. I am really amazed how many people buy other people's problems. I suppose the lure of a bargain fast car sucks you in, but the reality is there is a great chance you will be chasing your tail trying to figure out what the previous owner was thinking. Hopefully it is going to be easy to get it running nice, but I don't think you are on the right track at the moment.
  8. Option B is full retard. You never go full retard. (And not legal)
  9. What? Why would someone get rid of the return line? First time I've seen that. Did it run good when your mate bought it? Or only recently started running shit? Take a photo of the engine for us to see what is going on.
  10. Just realised you are the guy struggling putting a de box into your car. You will break that box with your car stock. Why do you want to break it sooner? Seriously dude, spend the money on a decent box that is not glass so you can enjoy the car. Anyway here is some advice you must not have heard before Cheap Fast Reliable You can only pick 2.
  11. Drivers door looks broken Fouled plugs are the result of running rich (shit tune) or too cold heat range (unlikely in your case) Do the easy stuff first. Plugs. No way of testing cas unless you happen to have an oscilloscope.
  12. Also, the rs has no sway bar at the rear. Tell your mate he has to get one!
  13. Just for lols what is your budget? I am asking because I assume you have absolutely no idea,, all of this info is on here for you to read.
  14. Aww hell no!
  15. No afm means intercooler pipes popping off don't make the car run bad, just no boost.
  16. Shit tune . My best guess.
  17. Different gears aren't going to get you to 300. Part of a 100k service won't get you there either (you left off cam seals) seems kinda odd you even mentioned it And whatever turbo that is won't get you to 300 , so you probably should reassess your goal to avoid disappointment. And cos I'm feeling helpful, you don't need the adjustable regulator. Your O2 sensor would be screwed, they go bad overtime so just replace it and good luck noticing the difference in economy with a synthetic oil.
  18. Lol. Not sure if serious now -_-
  19. I have a block crank rods etc good for rebuild. Is that what you want?
  20. These engines are not hard to find. They are everywhere here. Maybe if you are more specific as to what you want, a budget, how much you think shipping will be ( which you can get a quote on yourself) someone will help you out. Also shipping international is probably a pain as the engine would need to be packaged a certain way.
  21. Try a diesel forum dude. At a guess I would say it's rooted and needs to be taken to a diesel specialist. Seeing as you didn't specify what car it is I can't know if is common rail or not, but either way it's not like you will be able to just adjust something and fix it.
  22. Is this just a pipe dream?. No way would you run an rb26 on an rb20 ecu. As with all conversions wiring is the stumbling block of most people, but at the end of the day can be figured out when you have it all in front of you. An rb26 is engine, so it's not awd, but it has a diff in the sump which you would have to chop off and weld up or perhaps just leave it there. As for the gearbox (which one you didn't specify but you would have to be full retard to use the rb20 box) same theme, chop attessa shit off transfer case and weld up hole left behind Then rip skids all day.
  23. Bobby must be new to the Internet also. Welcome
