  1. I agree its likely a coil. There is no sure fire to test them other than to swap with known working ones. You might get lucky and be able to clean the boots and put in some silcon grease but I doubt it.
  2. Starting wuth a nice running car is always the best option, I suppose I don't like headd aches. You should have just plumbed the wastegate directly to control boost.
  3. Adding stuff will not make thr car run right. You have to get it sorted before you mod it.
  4. Yes, so make your rb20 plug the same as the 26 plug.....
  5. Thought there may be lols in here. Was not dissapointed. Thanks op.
  6. Its laid out on the platter, but still needs spooning in
  7. So are you going to do it? Have you measured up both cars? What are the roadworthy and engineering requirements for something like this?
  8. I'm not confused. Now that you have explained it more it makes more sense. Your initial post said if he wants more power he needs a bigger turbo, which as yiu agree isnt the case. Its just a case of value for money and time at this point.
  9. because if it is faulty the ecu could think its cold and run the car richer than required. Obviously refering to the one for the ecu, not the one for the gauge.
  10. That looks like a regular wheel. So I agree not highflowed. The exgaust wheel is more obvious, but heaps harder to get to than the intake. In take is a quick check, if unsure check exhaustt side.
  11. What if you are looking at the car side on? Is the rhs the back or front?
  12. Take off the intake and look at the comp wheel. Compare to a google search of a standard comp wheel.
  13. What's the deal with that quote? I never said that. Can you check fault codes on the ecu out if curiosity, they could explain the running poorly and bad shifting trans.
  14. Then castrol xf08
  15. First line says engine oil.
  16. Looks almost factory.
  17. Replaced it because it was blown? They don't blow for no reason.
  18. That's a weird statement above. Suggesting you need a new turbo for more power, but then suggesting 2 other ways to make more power with same turbo?
  19. You are making so little sense. I along with others are trying to help you. That statement directed at me makes no sense. How can you not be blaming the tuner? He fitted a retarded turbo then gave you a totally bullshit dyno graph and a car that doesnt drive well. And yiu dont blame him? Also first I ever heard fitting a s2 ecu to s1, those type of swaps always bring up annoying issues. Now I am just hanging around for the lols, cos this thread is bringing them. T3 rules.
  20. There's also the gizzmo kmonn to look at. I have one, but havent actuqllly started using it yet....
  21. As proven by post just before mine!
  22. There's alot of info that says thats not the recommended spot.it is too hot. Some have no worries though, its your money and sensor to gamble. It would cost stuff all to get a bung welded onto the exhaust in the right spot. Thats what I am reccomending.
  23. Before and after handling shots to remove confusion, cos I'm feeling helpful.
