  1. Definite no for c34 stageas, they use consult not obd, not sure on others.
  2. Why not catch a bus? They are turbo. ....
  3. Throttle not opened?
  4. Why not split the difference guys? Stop all the arguing But seriously, why isnt this best of both worlds? I've seen one in real life, and it looked the goods. no welding of anything (except itself) and bam, theres your wastegate hole!
  5. Scottynm35 has seen huge power through stock mani. I would leave it there.
  6. Hmmm. now im confused!! Im not 100 percent on sellling them, but am time limited to install them. Guys with em , talk me into keeping them!! what im worried about is the below 3000rpm performance, whee my car spends 95percent of the time driving to work
  7. Hi Guys, Ive been a bit impulsive lately and purchased some cams. On reflection, I dont think they are the best idea for my car as it is my daily. Will put them up for what I paid, not negotiable as I will leave them on my shelf so I look cool if they dont sell type B neo 260 deg duration 9.15 lift $450 Fairview Park SA Will organise postage. They have only been used a little bit and are really as new! I really want to chiuck them in, but I know as a daily, and an auto I will find them a bit annoying. For a track car or weekender they would be awesome.
  8. Because you have different cams I would not activate vct until you know you can. Cams with more overlap cant run vct or else the inlet and exhaust valves could hit. Obviously you need to fix the leak though but dont plug in the solenoid until you are sure its ok.
  9. Check that you can use vct with the cams
  10. Whoops http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/255288-garrett-gt3076-onto-rb25/
  11. Stop thinking start doing! Have you seen this, pics of dump fab included!
  12. Locking tunes suck.....
  13. Search for info. There's heaps of info out there. Be budgeting a reasonable amount if cash. Heaps mire if your not doing it yourself. Was there na manual r34s? If not you will have to spend about 1500 bucks on a manual box only and it is probably thrashed. The reason manuals are cheaper is cos a nanual conversion costs heaps more than what people think. Get a mv automatics shift kit and get the auto working nicley. Thats my advice.
  14. Obviously the turbo is screwed, but how does it feel by hand? Can you tell it is damaged? Just wondering for reference purposes. Cheers Ben
  15. My post was pointing out the are no straps involved with a turbo setup. They are bolted on. Strapping one on is weird. Sorry for posting twice again.
  16. Woah, calm down bro. I'm pretty sure things would be ok if I put a smiley in there somewhere
  17. Have you taken off the turbo drain and started the car and ran it into a bucket to check how much flow you are getting?
  18. That's normal as the front and rear diffs will each transmit drive to the easiest side.
  19. Carbon monoxide is odorless Car exhaust is not odorless. Obviously exhaust in the car is bad, but seriously the are heaps of alive people with screamers. And no one is arguing an internal gate screamer sounds so shit and is beyond pointless.
  20. I didn't say that to try to offend you, sorry if I did. I have already given you the advice of taking it easy for a bit and doing some research. if it takes another couple of weeks it will be worth it, both better and cheaper.
  21. Any engine with a turbo strapped to the side is the same as before, just now there is a turbo strapped to it. Rather than going to the trouble of strapping it to the side for no real gain, a turbo conversion would be more useful and no straps required.
  22. Do it. dream big. Don't let the haters talk sense into you.
  23. Do it. brace everything. Report back.
  24. Could be heaps of things. Could be fuel pump or dirty fuel filter.
