  1. Yep, that's what the air con would connect to.
  2. Weird noise at above or on rev limit!
  3. As in the duration? cos the lift is higher. Remember that they are solid lifters so can run a more aggressive ramp rate for a better overall result, so not as bad as they seem.
  4. I think what you are forgetting is that the air has mass, so having to turn around and go the other way isn't the best as going out a bov close to the throttle body.
  5. Head gaskets don't always leak into the oil, they can leak straight into a cylinder or out the side.
  6. Haha, sorry you thought it was hate, all cos I left out the smiley face. I thought it was pretty obviously sarcastic considering that this is a skyline forum! Sorry for the confusion. Are you planning on putting your car down the strip?
  7. The leak is coming from a welch plug. (that's my wild guess based on no info )
  8. And as Scotty mentioned, the bov return should be angled so it points at the turbo.
  9. And as Scotty ment I mentioned, the bov return should be angled so it points at the turbo.
  10. Trust me, in a few years you will look back at that pic and wonder if you were on crack
  11. That's what I am thinking. Their usefulness is very questionable.
  12. nope. no one makes power with rb25s!
  13. That makes no sense. How can the coil packs be a fuel cut?
  14. Such a shame to strip it down. I would have thought you would have better luck selling it complete at a cheaper price, otherwise you might get stuck with parts.
  15. Read the rb25 dynov results thread. start at the end
  16. Ya, it is good. Will it suit your needs? probably not.
  17. Coil packs.
  18. turbo timer? Start looking for it!
  19. Ahh, that makes sense that you don't just swap it then! What about checking how hot your engine is actually running? Maybe it is actually running hot. If you have a consult cable use that, or an infra red heat gun, or aftermarket gauge.
  20. Good work finding it. For our benefit how did you find it? by checking flow out of turbo drain first, or just whipping off oil feed line?
  21. Why not swap the sensor? Its not hard to do.
  22. Put it this way. you can screw an npt fitting into a bsp. But its not right. If is working for you that's cool, theres nothing to worry about. I have checked the oil cooler hole with my taps and definitely bsp. Nissan wouldnt use 2 different threads, and I'll say it again, nothing jap will have npt threads.
  23. Usual story man, pressure test to find a boost leak first. Search how to pressure test, it's the only good way to find boost leaks as looking at clamps etc doesn't cut it, and some leaks only occur with pressure in the system.
  24. And just to add, I have both bsp and npt taps, so am completely certain is bsp. The npt tap does start, but after a couple of threads binds up, the bsp tap runs in nicely.
