  1. No worries man, I havent experienced it first hand so cant confirm what I have heard/read. It's good you have spoken to guys who say it will be ok, so all the best. Cant wait to see it running!
  2. When is the day on?
  3. As per title, complete rear brake setup. Purchased as part of package, but decided to only use front brakes. Rotors excellent condition, pads have plenty left. Located Tea Tree Gully area SA $200 or near offer. Can organise courier, would guess around 80 dollars
  4. Fair enough, if you look at the thread that guy thinks differently, also spoke to my machinist when welding my feed (neo head) and he mentioned non neo use that feed for the front cam bearing, as he had seen a head destroyed as a result. But if you have done your research is your engine to decide what you do. And keep in mind that the typically when people block the oil feed by welding or grub screwing, they either do the internal feed or run an external line (as most would be keeping VCT)

  6. Look into how the front cam bearing gets its oil. It's through the vct supply that you have blocked off. How will it be lubed now? You can still do the intrrnal feed with the engine in.

  8. Just because the tacho is stable doesn't rule out a cylinder missing. With car running disconnect one coil pack at a time, in no time you will know which pack/plug/part of loom is dodgy
  9. wtf is going on in this thread?
  10. Yep, cas wiring needs changing and different plug on vct solenoid.
  11. I think you will be in trouble doing it like that. If it was a neo it would be fine, but pre neo use that feed to lube the front cam bearing. look into the intrrnal vct mod as that will supply oil to the bearing.
  12. sorry I wasnt clear, that is with the sohc head it is 7.8:1 .
  13. dude, his previous post just said he bought a boost leak tester, so i assume that's what he is going to do!
  14. He is using an auto, so don't think he wants a gtr box.
  15. Go for it man. Seems like you know it all already. Here's a tip. To find the best turbo match tell Precision what your plans are, they would help you far more than anyone else could.
  16. Seriously, good luck with the z32 maf. If you make that work with 800hp you will be re writing what everyone knows.
  17. Just noticed dales suggested bolt is a fine thread
  18. I have found alot of those chassis bolts to be fine threads, so keep that in mind.
  19. Yeah that's a funny question, is not like if you push it too far the nistune will blow up!
  20. if you typed that into the search box you would get your answer instantly
  21. Glad it's all sorted now. That's mental that it had 20 degrees too much timing!
