  1. That's the stuff! But how do you get it back in?
  2. They are on the inlet side right near a bolt hole in between cylinders 2.3 and 4.5.
  3. this man knows his stuff. In all electronics there is magic smoke. If you let it out the part won't work anymore. it's a real secret to get the smoke back in if you are lucky enough to catch it.
  4. Also the amount of time to put on the new plenum to save time later doing plugs doesn't add up.
  5. did you weld the block for more sealing surface in that coolant gallery or is it not as bad as it looks in that photo?
  6. I reckon there is no way the inlet face of the head would warp.
  7. Definitely not normal. There is no way the oem gasket could seal those gaps. doesnt make sense that it warped, maaybe someone tried yanking it off and missed a bolt?
  8. That's a absolute rip! go somewhere else!
  9. people use oem gasket no worries. Check flatness. replace or machine if required. don't weld it. That would be weird.
  10. Thats heaps low. I would definitely be checking cam timing.
  11. Have you priced nistune? Don't use a power fc
  12. totally forgot welsch plugs!
  13. passenger side coolant leak can only really be turbo lines.
  14. It would suck. Get nistune and actually tune the car properly.
  15. That image is a non neo head due to external oil drain. But vct same
  16. Yes, but not sure on that image. Just googled rb25 vct. Looks The same as what I saw on my neo head.
  17. I think you are confused. ...
  18. The vct is held on by one large bolt, not like the exhaust cam.
  19. I had the vct off to change cam seals. Wasn't hard. undo the hex head bolt. take off the cover, some oil will drip out, undo next larger hex head bolt, remove vct.
  20. hmmm. I did it recently can't remember any other tricks. There is another bolt under the cover held on the front, a bigger bolt. undo both. Might just have to gently tap it. It does come off
  21. Just wait the couple of months until your link arrives then use that. Don't kill the engine before it arrives!
  22. Take of cam cover. There are flats for a shifter to hold cam and stop it from turning. At the front of the cam
