Are you talking about where the top joins the bottom runners? If you weld that I'm pretty sure you won't be able to get your injectors out.

Compression is normal. When you say didn't turn over, do you mean it didn't crank at all or it didn't start? I assume is cranks over as you managed to comp test it. Check injectors clicking, check spark, timing. ..

Is it a stock plenum? stock bolts? In sure the oem gasket is best. The bolts bottoming out sounds odd. perhaps put some washers on as a quick fix.

What terminal are you using? Is it crimped on? I would solder it on. A lose connection gets hot.

All the good ideas have already been thought of Hey! I think the connector melted due to a dodgy connection from the plug being a bit dirty, not the pump about to die. Of course it's still worth getting rid of it and the thin stock wiring. Definitely added a fuse, right near the battery. No way would I want to run anything Un fused, let alone a cable so big.

55000 ks would still be on original timing belt, so you would expect no noise. 155000 ks original belt. .... noise.

Hi Guys These are for sale as they were on my car when I bought it. Installed nistune board, along with other things and made 275 rwkw with them, so they definitely work! Only selling as I scored some LS coils and decided to use them instead. If you are in SA I am happy for you to fit them and see if it fixes your issue, If it doesn't fix it, don't buy them! After 150 bucks posted. Will chuck in a GFB boost tee as I have no need for it. Cheers Ben
