Speedtek Gearset Review

Be interesting to see how you go. Sounds like you might need some pretty special oil -
Why not run factory pistons? For that power level I wouldn't consider you need forged pistons.

E85 comes out of a pump
-
That is nice. May I ask how many pesos Or handjobs that cost? (not sure how you pay for things)
-
Good thing you checked that as an oil pump is a pretty important item to keep bolted onto an engine. or so i have heard.

Ideas why engine won't take timing?
Ben C34 replied to oxford1327's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
You don't need an ecu to do a comp test. Even better to do it now with it removed as injectors won't spay fuel. -

Kinkstaah is correct, non neo pistons in a neo engine will be very high comp. The neo combustion chambers are a fair bit smaller than R32 and R33, I think like 10cc or so. -
no, not at all. you cant PWM a relay, the factory control dropped the pump speed with a resistor, this will bypass that and be full speed all the time.

want to buy a turbo kit for my N/A R34
Ben C34 replied to Jase_r34's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
oh man, settle down. cars are a waste of time, and money. lets all agree on that. Slap, you are enthusiastic. I'll give you that. take a breath and chill out. no one is trying to fight. let alone get on a plane to fight people (that you implied) . do a skid. and go drive a nice new euro to see what you think -

Wrong. he said he couldn't be bothered selling gt to buy gtt. So the thread is based on a misguided assumption that turboing an na will be easier than selling and then buying a car, which is wrong. -

More pimping out cars discussion and less common sense thanks. like how to pull 9000rpm with an rb20 stock ecu, no vct is best. Stuff like that. Very noble of Slap to have joined for those reasons. It must be tough seeing that people think differently to you, and you need to set them straight, sort out this internet for the benefit of skylines everywhere . -
Wow, for someone claiming others are but hurt you are making yourself look pretty bad.. Perhaps you forgot what you actually wrote, luckily you just need to scroll up. You said they are shit and drive ability is bad, not that you don't like them. I suppose the guys who tune them well just know what they are doing, notrelying on knowledge from some relatively non useful degree in relation to tuning. Anyway, like you said people can do what they want (I assume so long as that doesn't conflict with your opinions or else you get cranky). Take it easy bro.

That's funny. The reason it's cheap is because it still uses the factory ecu so there's less stuff to buy. if a retard tunes a nistune you get a shit tune, that's not rocket science. factory ecu tuning is way harder than tuning aftermarket Ecu's, for that reason many tuners Reccomended the simple option (for them) is that you use a different ecu (that they sell)

When that laundry is 400mm underwater the tiles will fall off and you won't be able to sell your house ever.

Will RB20DET Alternator fit RB20e?

Good work reporting results, threads with no outcome make baby jesus sad -
But it is by nature of the plumbing that it works, not some kind of genius invention. It is dead obvious, just like a wheel!

That isn't at all sophisticated if you look at how an afm functions. Definitely nothing to be amazed by.

R33 Fuel Pump Wiring , Better Feed Retaining Fpcm ?
Ben C34 replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Actually this looks like the go. Chinese versions available, 600w mentioned somewhere. No special plugs required cos you can chop off the existing plugs . Google this part number people 8K0959501G -
R33 Fuel Pump Wiring , Better Feed Retaining Fpcm ?
Ben C34 replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
agreed. Which is pretty much why I have not installed it yet. I would prefer to try out a fan controller from a VF commodore (or heaps of other options). They pwm the cooling fans so must be capable of a fair bit of current. I'll start hunting for one of them again.... -
R33 Fuel Pump Wiring , Better Feed Retaining Fpcm ?
Ben C34 replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yep. One of them. I wasnt particularly clear before, however I think I will just use a 2 stage setup with a switched output commanding full speed , so the rough idea is figure out where I want the pot set for enough fuel for general use, then replace pot with resistor. Output from ecu to short out resistor for full speed.
