  1. That's completely ridiculous boost limiting strategy based on those inlet temps. The tuner sounds special. Also, the best thing is a solenoid valve, the next best is a check valve. This isn't rocket surgery.
  2. You don't have a coke can? I'll ignore the turbo pressure damage concern for the most part, but I will guarantee doing it for a test won't cause an issue.
  3. Just block off the bov and see what happens.
  4. Don't stress about the rings catching. I hereby give it internet mechanic approval.
  5. Well it's not low enough for the rings to not go over it, but in the scheme of things it probably wouldn't matter. I would be leaving it alone before trying to weld it, that's just mental. I can't see how it would cause damage, but it's not nice knowing it is there, you will always be thinking about it for the rest of your life....
  6. That's a weird looking turbo.. Is it electric?
  7. Well that sucks. Add more boost and hold it on the limiter to show it who is the boss ...
  8. You also don't need to weld a bung. The stock crossover pipe is plenty thich enough to drill and tap. Also I don't really put much faith in a progressive controller based on boost. You can be at full boost low revs and get full flow, it really needs to be mapped to the actual engine demand (injector duty cycle) for progressive to be worthwhile. Even then there are issues. You need a tune by the way
  9. I would not be happy with that, but out of curiosity is it low enough that the rings even go over it?
  10. Google it.
  11. So you already have it?
  12. There another reason to no do it. 50 50 methabol and water doesn't burn and yes it does mix, how the hell would everyone be mixing it if it didn't mix?
  13. When you bleed the coolant do you extend the radiator filler up higher (with tube or tight fitting funnel) so you can definitely get out the bubbles?
  14. Here's the thing, you have done more than what you said in the initial post, so how the help are we going to guess what went wrong ?
  15. Maf not plugged in?
  16. Yellow jacket coils are not good and are likely your problem
  17. Much like it is easier to throw a ball across a smaller lake, it is easier for spark to jump a smaller gap. Or it’s easier to shoot a ball of lightning from your finger a smaller distance than a larger distance.
  18. Let's do this the other way around. What do want to bolt on and why?
  19. I had no drama. Would do it again
  20. You buy a new grommet. They are the same as many other cars, take yours to a car parts shop of your choice.
  21. About 7psi Ask Nissan . Other cars are like that so they revert to lower boost if there is an issue. Subaru do it for example.
  22. No. Because the bleed valve is part of th e stock boost setup. Which gets the turbos to boost to stock boost. Which incorporates a bleed off of the wastegates.
