  1. Theres an expensive lesson. Pop the head off and sort it out. Don't stress about the bottom end, valves bend pretty easily when a piston is pushing against them
  2. No it isn't definitely a shock sensor. Probably.
  3. That is aftermarket and likely a shock sensor. Why do you want to cut the wires?
  4. He specified not the coil pack cover bolt... now if I was in this situation, I would l{ok at my engine and figure it out. It's either m6 m8 or m10. It will be metric coarse. The lentgh required is easily measured. Alternatively if I was unable to look or think I would call a wrecker and get the bits required. But that's just me.
  5. The vt commodore is the R33. It sucks.
  6. Is that a Good option nOw though? Especially with billet blocks available it seems super odd to go down a spacer and sleeve path.
  7. Did you block it with some old alfoil? That's not going to cut it man. Try glad wrap.
  8. Boost leak. Do a pressure test
  9. Sound like someone thrashes $2hookers a bit too hard and doesn't want that to happen to a car?
  10. Depends. Pretty sure there is an overriding rule you can't put an older engine into a newer car, so in this case it would be a problem as GTSBoy has already mentioned.
  11. Oh man, I haven't seen that video in a while. Classic!
  12. There is a difference between bolt on type mods vs a completely different engine though, especially when it comes time that it cops a defect you have to reverse an engine swap, which likely will not happen and the car will be retired.
  13. Oh, don't you have a dick?
  14. What if I get a stiffy, or is that to be expected and why you want to take someone for a drive?
  15. Are you dense? Just because I currently don't own a Nissan doesn't mean I havent previously. You have been told what to buy. It will cost probably 10 bucks. Just buy one and move on. What are you trying to do? Make one.? You seem very Touchy. Just relax and breathe, someone will swoop in and help youa if just be patient . Getting into a rage won't help you at all. You got any skid vids to lighten the mood?
  16. Your doing well mate. I'm sure someone will happily answer your pointless question shortly. Then you can resolve this non issue you are facing.
  17. Bro, they are there to bypass the filter should it become blocked. Good luck on your journey of knowledge. You realise there is an oil pressure regulator as part of the pump which sets theax pressure?it isn't done in the filter housing area. Pressure is caused by restriction to flow, the restriction being caused by the bearing clearances....
  18. That's a pretty random range that you aren't likely to get a comparison for. but for reference they are heaps slow with a stock turbo regardless of boost.
  19. Haha. Good luck with that !
  20. I hope this isn't the reason for the noise but what you explain is the opposite of what you should do if you need to turn the cams. You would set the pistons so they are all down from tdc and rotate the cams first, then bring 1 to tdc. This is to avoid hitting valves into pistons.
  21. That sucks..... It certainly looks like the marks are lined up correctly. You didn't turn the engine when the belt was off did you?
  22. If you disconnect a bov it will leak when there's boost in the system. Pressure helps keep it shut. Do you have a wideband? If leaking boost out of the bov made it run right it would be crazy lean otherwise.
  23. The cas will bottom out without the spacers and make noise like what is in the video.
