  1. Boost system is a pretty wierd way to describe a turbo. Assuming it is a turbo, what size is it? What is do you mean the boost system is creating boost bit not using it? No way would an na 2.5 make 500hp so boost is being used.
  2. An O2 sensor range is 0.1 to 0.9v When warm at idle should swing up and down from 0.5v
  3. Just because someone made a video on how to test coil packs means it is a valid way of testing coil packs. As kiwi said you can't test them.
  4. Old post but I don't think those pipes are gold. Would have cost way too much to make.
  5. Or knock out the nut inserts things and then use a nut insert thing that suits the original m12 bolt......
  6. I Genuinely am disappointed that the head is going back onto that block........
  7. That's tune related. Injector latency perhaps, but no point in guessing. Take it back and get the tune fixed
  8. Well the thing is that's not what you said. You had an 'I told you so' type comment. Anyway, how do you know he didn't have an alarm?
  9. For reference http://www.nzefi.com/product/knock-sensor-bosch-donut-type/
  10. Bosch "donut type" is what the gizmo kmon system uses.
  11. Rather than go off topic in the Borg warner thread, I'll mention it here. The stock knock sensors aren't the best design, and being old there's no way I would rely on them. Look into changing them out for some Bosch sensors off something heaps newer! The stock thread is a 3/8bsp (weird hey) the so you can get a plug and drill and tap that m8 or something strange cos you are an American , and bolt the new sensor on.
  12. What knock sensor are you relying on?
  13. That's a bit harsh. Plenty of cars get towed. How's the immobiliser help there.
  14. Nissan's process of loosening is so the threads are "burnished" together, removing high spots. No need with the higher quality arp and especially studs. There's way less contact are between the nut and the stud vs a bolt and the block.
  15. Nissan's process is for Nissan's bolts. Arps process is for their studs. I know which one I would use. I'd start in the middle
  16. Nice. That trailer is a bit funky!
  17. An engine is an engine
  18. How much coolant spilt on the engine?
  19. Are you willing to put in a decent torque converter? something with a 4000rpm stall would wake the car up, and open up your turbo options. The hassle of trying to run an auto with a piggy back is a pain, just get the trans built with a manualised valve body and then use any ecu. I think an auto r32 ecu can be nistuned
  20. On the right track!
  21. I always thought that those joints were just easier for manufacture and assembly.
  22. Would it be wired up to the reverse lights? Try going revere then nuetral
